1. Black Christmas 1974 10/10. To me, it is perfect. Needed for the horror landscape with its themes, devices, and iconography. The only complaint would be not checking the attic, but in 1974, the precendent of these invasions weren't as deeply ingrained in the conscious of people, so I let it slip. 2-Black Christmas (2006). 5.5/10. A slasher devoid of nuance, answering questions that helped the mystique of the og. I didnt hate the lead, and the lighting was actually still decent, to me. If 2019 hadnt been released, 2006 would probably be a 4.5/10 to me. So thanks for reframing my opinion... #3 Black Christmas 2019 1.5/10. A tenuously linked plot to the original, developing the SA sub-plot from what was originally a tone and setting establisher, default to the tone and setting. With nothing to say, it became a "lesson", where I am presumed to be a learning student. Im very glad to see resounding nooooo's whenever this dump is thrown on the "table". To count the fan films too; 1) og 2) its me billy 2 3) 2006 4) its me billy 5) DAYLIGHT... 2019
