Some curious facts: 1957 - Margot also represented Germany the following year, finishing 7th. 1960 - Norway's Eurovision debut 1965 - Udo would win for Austria the following year 1967 - Vicky would win in 1972 for Luxembourg. An instrumental version of this song by Paul Maruiat hit #1 in the US. 1970 - Guy would represent France again in 1983, finishing 8th. 1972 - Both Sandra and Andres were of Indonesian origin. Sandra also represented the Netherlands in 1976 and 1979. 1973 - Israel's Eurovision debut. 1974 - England-born Ireen Sheer would represent Germany in 1978 and Luxembourg again in 1985. Frenchman Romuald had already represented Monaco in 1964 and Luxembourg in 1969. 1976 - Second of four times Peter, Sue & Marc represented Switzerland. 1977 - Michèle represented Luxembourg in 1966. 1980 - Paola also represented Switzerland in 1969. 1981 - The fourth final time that Peter, Sue & Marc represented Switzerland, each time in a different language: French in 1971, English in 1976, German in 1979 and Italian in 1981. 1982 - Stella represented Netherlands in 1970 and Belgium in 1977 with her sisters Patricia and Bianca. 1983 - Danijel is the only singer from Montenegro to represent the former Yugoslavia at Eurovision. 1984 - Kirsten & Soren would represent Denmark again in 1985 and 1988. Kirsten was pregnant when she performed in 1984 and 1988. Soren's daughter sang with them on stage in 1985. (No, they were not a couple) 1988 - Lara Fabian would become a very successful singer, selling millions of records worldwide. 1990 - These two singers would represent Iceland again in 1992 as part of a band and the girl (Sigga) would do it solo again in 1994. 1992 - Mia also represented Italy in 1977. Sadly she passed away in 1995. 1994 - Hungary's Eurovision debut (and still their best placing). 1997 - The only time Italy competed in Eurovision between 1994 and 2010. 1998 - Edsilia would represent The Netherlands again in 2007 and will be one of the hosts of Eurovision 2021. 1999 - This song illegally used pre-recorded back vocals and had some points deducted. 2001 - The first time an Eurovision song from France was sung partly in English. 2011 - The sand artists, Kseniya Symonova, won Ukraine's Got Talent and competed in America's Got Talent - The Champions. She also was on stage in the performance of Moldova in 2019. 2016 - Poli also represented Bulgaria in 2011.

Hi Dim, first of all the name "schlagerlucas" might come from a musical genre called schlager. According to Wikipedia "is a style of European popular music that is generally a catchy instrumental accompaniment to vocal pieces of pop music with simple, happy-go-lucky, and often sentimental lyrics. Typical Schlager tracks are either sweet, sentimental ballads with a simple, catchy melody or light pop tunes. Lyrics typically center on love, relationships, and feelings". Helene Fischer in Germany and Carola Häggkvist in Sweden are very well known for singing this type of music. I personally love schlager, because it makes me feel happy. After 2000's ALMOST every song from this list, deserves a reaction. My favorites are (in order of appearance): Israel 2005, Turkey 2009, Norway 2013 and Bulgaria 2016. Hope you can do a reaction to those. Thank you!
