We own a timeshare here El Cid, marina beach is our favourite of all El Cid resorts we used to go into town for dinners but now we do all inclusive. It’s great you can go to all three resorts and use the facilities and restaurants, recommend Brazilian night at the Grenada and their pool is really quiet during the day. Beach at marina is awesome . Great video !

Thanks so much! I agree, El Cid Marina is a gem. Many choose the beachfront El Cid instead not realizing how much quieter the El Cid is and how private their beach is.

I’m going with my husband and 5 yr old. I’m just now realizing it’s a level 4 of do not visit. What was your overall feeling of safety? I’m considering cancelling if there’s any risk.

We felt perfectly safe when we were there. We also just went to Mazatlan in late May and felt the same way. There are many tourists in Mazatlan right now and if you stick to the tourist areas you will be safest.

I got an email from them for about 600 for 7 nights here or 700 at Riviera Maya. Is that good?

That's not bad, but I've seen better. Call them and see if they have a better offer. If you have Interval World (through a timeshare) you can get a week for around $300.
