Wonder why 90% of the people who want to give up their passports are from Goa, mostly Christians. There 28 states and 8 union territories in India. When India became independent 95% of the people were poor. Today the official number is 11.9%. Almost all states around Goa, both in the west and south have developed at a phenomenal rate, but not Goa. Reasons : 1) too much concentration on tourism. 2) too much concentration on religion ( Muslims and Christians). 3) lack of ambition and no knowledge of existing opportunities in India. How many Christians want to become IAS officers, ISRO or DRDO scientists. How many major entrepreneurs from Goa who can match the might of Narayan Murti, Mukesh Ambani, Azim Premji or Ratan Tata. 4) Lack of professional education. Normal excuse given is that the government does not do anything for the state. Right from their birth to death, Goan Christians think only of Sorro, Dukra che Maas, Feni, Beaches, Girls, aGora tourist to serve and loot and a Portuguese passport. The moment a child is born in a Christian family in Goa, parents have already decided that they will try to get a Portuguese passport for the child, who will go there and work as a janitor, plumber, electrician, helper, servant, cleaner mechanic, or machine operators. After that they take pride in saying that their children are working abroad. The normal excuse is that the salary is better, but they don’t want to accept that the cost of living and taxes are just as high. There are so many people there we know who are struggling to survive, but cannot come back because of their pride. Time to realise that the demography of Goa is changing. People from other states are already taking over. They see opportunities in Goa, but the Goans don’t. They blame the Government and everyone else for their inefficiencies, but won’t give up their sick mindsets of being lazy. They see life only in serving a Gora, because they cannot see anything beyond that. Time to know that if other states can develop, Goa too can.

All bullshit, except in some cases most Goans gave up their Citizenship without knowing the genuine value of Citizenship, they only thought of getting higher income n pension after getting Senior Citizens tag. Some youngsters of just crossing 18 years were forced by their parents to opt for Portuguese Citizenship.There are some other reasons too .Just getting views of this two persons don't get any reality. Don't understand why till today Church is still silent on this issue

This is what you call the “physic of a slave”. Goan parents teach their children right from their childhood that their saviour is a Gora. Serving him is their ultimate goal. It’s easy to blame the government for everything going wrong, but don’t accept that other states in India have developed under the same governments.
@santoshpereira29645 ай бұрын
@@antonypereira3853 why blame the government, when the problem is only with the Catholics. Other communities even from outside see opportunities and grow, but a catholic cannot. Catholics should get over their obsession with a Portuguese passport, feny, dukra che Maas, gora tourist and drugs.

@@yolandadesa250 Everyone has an equal opportunity. It is only the Goan Christian’s that have a problem. They coverup their own inefficiencies and obsessions by blaming the government for their laziness. Other states have developed. People from other states find an opportunity in Goa, but the Goans can’t. Try and overcome your obsession with the Portuguese passport to serve a gora, everything else will fall in line.

@@charmainevaz why blame the passport or the government. Other Indians make it big both in India and abroad. It is the lazy mentality and the obsession of the Portuguese passport that has brought the Christian Goans down. First learn to love your country of birth, gain education, be positive, everything else falls in line. If it can happen in the other states of India, it can happen to Goa too.
