Working in a clinic, I can say that reddish stretch marks on the abdomen (accompanied by other symptoms) could indicate some type of hormonal imbalance. But I'm not a medical professional, always discuss with your PCP!

Hi, I’m a teen. And I have white stretch marks, they never turn red. They are just white. Is it safe to use tretitoin/retinoid for stretch marks for teens? Will it help lessen appearance? Is it better to get a Prescription from my dermatologist?
