We’ve gathered enough information for the upcoming updates, so in this video, we’ll take a closer look at all the banners, starting from version 5.1 all the way up to 5.3.
Most of you already know who’s coming in 5.1, so let’s quickly summarize it.
Xilonen and Chiori will be featured in the first phase, while Nahida and Hu Tao will appear in the second phase.
Version 5.2 will be released on November 20th.
The new 5-star character will be Chaska, an Anemo bow user from the Flower-Feather Clan. Based on some leaks, her kit will feature flying abilities, which isn't surprising given her clan's background. It's been hinted that her flight duration will surpass Wanderer’s, which is really exciting! Although, we’ve heard similar things before about Cloud Retainer's release, so we’ll have to wait and see.
Usually, we don’t get rerun information this early, but according to the info shared by Foul, you can expect a Dragonspine-related event and a Wanderer rerun in 5.2. It's rare to get rerun details two versions in advance, but the combination of Wanderer and Dragonspine is revealing more than expected.
Version 5.3 will be released on January 1st, New Year’s Day. You can expect to see Mavuika’s banner and the Lantern Rite.
Mavuika will be a 5-star Pyro claymore user, making her the first Archon to wield a claymore. We have some details about her kit, and it seems she’ll have a bike into her abilities. Yes, all those memes weren’t just jokes and insiders have consistently hinted at her using a bike in her kit.

By the way, about cloud retainer and flying abilities, You have to remember it is natlan we are talking about. The exploration abilities for characters are broken in Natlan. So chasca having a better flying ability than wanderer should be no surprise to anyone.

I think the new map may not come with a archon quest, but a new tribe, since Chasca will be coming out, it will most likely be her tribe, meaning we will get the Chasca story quest through the reputation area, just like Kinich, Mulani and then Xilonen in 5.1 {Which is most likely why the last act is said "coming soon"} So, it may be more focused on Chasca, and that we will get a new archon quest in 5.3 since Mauvika is coming

I think that just because the developers are focusing on Natlan this doesn't mean that there won't be a Mondstadt expansion. I honestly doubt there will be wanderer in 5.2 if so, he will be in 5.6 (at least, might be later on). He had a re-run a while ago, so its more likely for even Xiao to be on wanderer's place. Another, i doubt there will be venti. We will problary get zhongli faster, as Venti is almost forgoten by the genshin admins/creators. I dont remembered his exact last re-run, but im sure it was long ago. Instead, we might get heizou on one of the next banners (till version 5.3 second half) since we alredy got him on the newest event, last part. So there's a high chance for him. We might also get Goru (i dont remembered his name) since hs's good suport for geo character we will/might get in 5.1. That's all the info i can give you from my own experince. Dont take everything 100%, as we may never know what comes next.

I have a theory about the new place coming in 5.2, considering the new character will be Chasca, I think it's most likely gonna be an expansion of the Flower-Feather clan. As in 5.0, People of the Springs (Mualani), Children of Echoes (Kachina), and the Canopy which I forgot full name (Kinich) were released. Which means Ororon might also be from the Feather clan. And also I think, because Chasca is anemo the Feather clan will probably have Anemo-like dragons just like the Koholusaurus (idk the spelling) from People of Springs can swim in water. And then Citlali's clan gets released (Cryo) in like 5.4? And Iansan's clan (Electro) in like 5.5 or 5.6? 😊

the thing i really dislike about genshin compared to hsr is how lost the dev team seems to be with genshin. it seems like they have no idea what to do with the story sometimes and the game state itself. not only that but characters taking full years or more to rerun is insane when they literally made a bigger banner system and just never used it again. just makes me really hesitant to spend any kind of money in this game when even the devs seem to have given up on it and are merely doing it out of obligation instead of passion.
