Your V6 Midget got me into your channel as I would like to convert my Midget to receive the same engine (I had planned to put the Jag V6 into my kit car but had to sell that car a few years back). It was good to meet you in February 2019 (photo with a Mini). I intended to invite you out to Perth Western Australia to help on my MG Midget project but you seemed very busy. My Midget is making good progress but a lot more work than I imagined. I use your videos for inspiration to this day. I hope that all is going well with the new job?

Can I ask how long you had been in IT before changing career and did you teach yourself all the welding, spraying, mechanical stuff etc? I work in security and have had always had this feeling I should have been working with cars, but never done anything about it. I'd love to start a project car (TT, how I found your channel) but would also like to look at moving into car modification/restoration as a career. Would probably be a bit of a step back in salary though unfortunately and I'm 38 now so not getting any younger! Loved watching your Metro videos, hope it gets finished by the new owner and we see it on track! All the best. Daz

Is there a way to modify the exhaust without welding?

You could probably get slip-on style fittings, however, i regretted changing mine and bought a good used stock one to refit.
