She knew she and Ruby were in trouble. When the police got to her house and she got dragged out despite being on the phone with her lawyer and refusing to let the cops in, that was the only satisfactory outcome thus far. @@vickylewis8558 The police were trying to locate all the Franke children especially the two sisters that Russel thought might be at Jodi’s house. They ended up finding Eve, Russel’s little sister, 9 years old, emaciated and clearly terrified too. So Russel saved himself and Eve. Ruby and Jodi were planning on buying a farm in Arizona where they wouldn’t have neighbors nearby so they could exorcise the children and the District Attorney said the children would likely have died had that happened. Jodi already had moved much of her things into storage and Ruby was planning on renting out the Franke home despite Kevin claiming not to know this. Ruby also cleaned out all her kids bank accounts and her and Kevin’s checking account partially too. She had a bag at Jodi’s house with $85,000 in it which her lawyer has. Despicable. The police had to gather enough evidence and convince Eve to join her brother at the hospital. Doctors put R & E on a 3 day hold to treat their sores and starvation before releasing them to DCF.

Kevin, news flash - looking at a picture of your family on the wall everyday does not constitute taking care of them. You have to put in the time and effort. It is your job to nurture and protect and keep your kids safe. You have to feed them and provide for their needs every single day. You have to be there and take action to do these things. I don’t think you understand what being a dad means. A dad would never go a year+ without seeing their kids, unless the court ordered it, or he was in jail. This is insane! Kevin, you are not ready and in no shape to be a hands on dad. You need some serious help in this department, and you need to not get it from the Mormon church, or anyone affiliated with the Mormon church.

Ruby is faking remorse! She said it all on the phone to her sister. You have to say you were wrong and no what you did was wrong to get out earlier than sentence. That's what she basically said to her sister. I pray they both serve the full time 30 year's.

After seeing the actual wounds of her son on 20/20 With them not being blurred out these two women need to rot in prison for thirty years for what they did to both of those children. The wounds were clear down through the flesh and looked like they were into the muscle and looked like it had been rotting under their so-called bandage. Ruby fully participated in the handcuffing and tying down of her son by what he told police. She knew everything that was happening to her children. Her fake act she puts on is just that. FAKE! These women are pure evil and using religion to justify this abuse is beyond sickening. The only people possessed by the devil is Ruby and Jodi.

The wife of the man who made the 911 call putting her hands on RF’s arms, kneeling in front of him…I remember as a kid feeling so comforted whenever my mom did that kind of thing, looking me in the eyes with motherly care and concern…I can’t imagine not having that as a child from safe adults, and to have this horror instead, just indescribable. Glad he found a sweet set of grandparents to help him.

The big question is ...... How did these two individuals get away with torturing the children without family doctor, teachers, all relatives, friends and immediate neighbors not knowing of the exceedingly cruel abuse that was being unleashed on the two captive children ?
@cassdun6195 ай бұрын
It's super common, I'm a child of abuse and mine didn't come out till I was 17 and a few months till 18 years old. I had told a couple adults in the family but no one would do anything about it. When I told police and social workers, they said they wouldn't press charges but help me get out. (It's really messed up what the cops and social worker said during that process) I showed signs of abuse in 2nd grade, was moved to private Christian school when a teacher asked about my health problems and suggested therapy. (Another long story of how a few adults didn't help me)
