oh thanks, I'm not really wanting to use the characters for anything other than learning. I'm trying to get a good understanding of what parts of my mesh I should hide/delete when I'm throwing armor on a character. I went to school for this stuff over 15 years ago, then joined the army, so I'm very rusty and times have super changed lol. I basically spent the last few weeks watching videos and learning sculpting tools, made a low poly naked dude, then added a multires and sculpted him into a high poly naked dude and now I'm trying to turn him into some kinda space marine lol. my questions now are things like "should I delete his foot under this boot" and other stupid noob questions :P I'll just do whatever you did in your models lol

congrats on the game release! I've been following for roughly a couple years, back during the start of either the IK or texture node videos. I've sent your videos to a load of people. your tutorials are the embodiment of some advice that's saved me hundreds of hours: anything you want to know about modeling can be shown in a video 15 minutes or less, anything longer is a waste of time. genuinely you are the reason I keep tinkering in blender and I know I will continue to for a long time constantly be coming back to your videos to refresh my memory on various topics.

Incredible job! I've been following your tutorials, and after all this time i just have one question; For animating/placing the weapons in your character's hands, do you prefer FK or IK on your character's hand rig?

I definitely prefer IK if you have the choice, it's a little trickier to set-up, but it usually saves a lot of time in the long run -

I'm really grateful for not just all the sick tutorials, but now even giving us the characters for free for a short time, but I'm curious, you said the free version is no different from the commercial one if you put in the leg work of rigging them, but what about licensing? Can I use the free ones commercially? Not that I'd expect you to go that far and I don't expect it anyway but just asking in case since the free ones say "only for personal projects" but have the same Standard License as the commercial one - also, what would happen if I went past 2k sales or 20k views with either of those? Hypothetically, not that I'd expect these numbers if I ever published something
