Su's voice just keeps getting better and better. There is even more symphonic and choral elements to the music and I for one am not complaining. As far as theatrics, they are second to none. I would love to go to one of their shows live in Japan in those huge concert venues just once before I kick the bucket. Any rich benefactors out there? Haha!!!

The power and dynamism of the song depicts a cavalry preparing for their future battle._ When this song came out i really love it like everyone else especially for two reasons, the drum & bass elements, which i love because of bands like Pendulum, and second because it was SuMetal first time credited on the lyrics, just like Moa and Yui, now she got her own song and reach one of her dreams comes true. Of course the rest of the elements are cool too like the heavy intro guitars and the BMTH resemblance. Many fans (including me) were relating the horse/cavalry imagery, and many others sections of the lyrics, including the title, with the anime series Attack On Titan (Shingeki No Kyojin), but they're bringing us a new lore and a metalverse with 10 different worlds and songs that probably are connected in this concept album some how some way, now with the new singles and live performance out the picture is slowly changing and getting away from that first vision I had. We can say that this song carry the spirit and message of songs like Road Of Resistance but this is more like a call to arms and fight for your future, perhaps. You can find the official lyrics on this pinned on the comments. *METAL KINGDOM* This is why BabyMetal have no match among any other Japanese artists, top notch worldwide. Many others are finding Game Of Thrones resemblance on this stage setup, it just looks insane. The ten prophets are holding crosiers with "The Other One" logo which is similar to the infinite symbol "OO" and is the title of upcoming 4th album. We were expecting this live proshot version but we'll have to wait next month for live sound. We got so many big news and announcements, a new official member is coming (most likely Momoko Okazaki, the one who has been performing with them all these years and latest live concerts) next live shows in April 1st (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama. Also they performed with a new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, so we're guessing maybe some of the older kawaii metal songs they don't play anymore will be back with this new unit, so stay tuned for more but like always OTFGK. There was some minor issues when SuMetal was singing this live a little bit off, apparently an IEM issue or something but is all good coz we all know it's been a while since performing live and is the premiere of this song, pretty sure next live shows will be better. Played the first two album tracks in reverse order 😂. I know, you probably wouldn't know that yet. Metal kingdom is the intro track that builds up to divine attack. Also played at the start of the recent concerts. Touring Europe in April , then who knows. I'm sure there's something planned, festivals maybe. Two epic tunes by the way. 🦊🦊🔥🦊🦊

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。The visualizer of "Divine Attack!" had been shocking enough to me, but I could not remember this song well when it was performed after "Metal Kingdom" at the actual concert. The opening performance was too mesmerizing for me to regain normal sensory perception. This video is from Makuhari shows on Jan.28 /29. I witnessed both shows at the venue. You saw one octagonal movable / elevatable stage but actually there were two identical stages for more surprising production. Several drones with camera were flying around all over the venue. Once this opening song by Su and Moa got started, I had goosebumps all over my body. The show was held after the almost 2-year long hiatus after all. Seriously many of audience were moved to tears and/or dropped their jaws when the gigantic fox wall opened and the thrones came out. Yeah! I chanted all through the song. ♪ Oh oh oh o o o ♪. What a happy experience!! The Kami band was playing on the east stage that was not captured in this video. After this grave opening, 3 girls performed 12 songs with Momoko Avenger. Did you see 3 (not 2) thrones at 08:15 in your video? Yeah, BM will change. The official 3rd girl is going to be unveiled in the next shows in Yokohama on April 1/2. Yes, at last ✌ ps. I luckily managed to get tickets to the shows in April. 😍

Learn the techniques to unblock videos. Add a 90% transparent logo over the video and pause and back up now and then. Some of the footage is from DVDs they sell and the Agency won't give them away for free without modifications.

These two songs feature as the first (Metal Kingdom) and second (Divine Attack) tracks on the new album 'The Other One', and were performed first and second at the recent concerts at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo in January where the Metal Kingdom video was filmed. I was lucky enough to be there for both shows and it was absolutely spectacular to see them live in their full theatrical glory. You're absolutely right that Babymetal needs to be seen to really be experienced, rather than simply listened to. Koba has explained that the new album is a concept album with a narrative thread running through it, and they seem to going for a much grander and more cinematic sound that is not as heavy, but is very atmospheric. A someone who loved symphonic metal, I'm here for it. Babymetal have certainly changed over the years, and part of that has been forced on them by the fact that they have literally grown from children to adults in this band and the things that worked for them as children like the cuteness, are less suitable as adults. It has also been deliberate choice that Su and Moa have talked about in recent years; they have spoken about their desire to present a 'mature version of Babymetal' and think this new album is part of that evolution from what they once were to whatever it is that they are becoming.

Great double reaction. These are the first two tracks on the album and were the first two songs they played in their concerts a couple of weeks ago. 'Metal Kingdom' is the big, anthemic introduction with the theatrical performance leading nicely into the more upbeat 'Divine Attack' - and everybody is so proud and happy to see Su-metal's name in the writing credits for the first time with the lyrics. It seems to me, based on the 3 songs released so far and the snippets I've heard of the other songs, that this album is largely highlighting Su-metal's amazing vocals ... and why wouldn't they. Their previous big intro song for the second half (Dark Side) of the Metal Galaxy Album and one they used in several concerts was 'In The Name Of', so that would make for a good reaction ... but it has to be the full 'Legend S, Baptism XX' performance. I'm a very new Babymetal fan that's gone through most of their entire storyline the last few months, lore-wise and performance wise. These ladies were so talented and brave when they were young, and while it had to grow on me, I ended up loving the dichotomy of sounds. It seems the "cute metal" phase may be coming to an end. In Metal Kingdom, they've shown themselves to be the beautiful confident women they now are. No longer children, and the new direction of their sound is matching that. I'm excited. Super excited. I've loved all three songs from the new album. Metal Kingdom especially is 5 minutes of Su's by far greatest vocals ever. She always had extremely impressive stage precense and a powerful unwavering voice, but it's obvious she's been training and learning. Her voice is more silky and powerful as ever! I've become a much bigger Moa fan also. She's showing the same growth as an empowered woman. I understand the company has a lot of money and experts behind the production and songwriting but I personally believe that doesn't take away from the true focus of this band. The ladies. Notice there are 3 thrones? 😁❤

The correct order of the concert/album is Metal Kingdom first then Divine Attack. Divine Attack lyrics was written by Su-Metal herself, and I believe Metal Kingdom lyrics was written by their manager Koba-Metal (Kitsune of the Metal God)

Great double feature, thanks! These are the two firsts tracks of the new album (in reverse order). And they are super epic. I specially enjoy "Metal Kingdom" as well, being some sort of harangue before the battle... or before a glorious concert like at the Makuhari Messe a couple of weeks ago as shown on this visuals. Also, I really like "Divine Attack". It's a great song with some cool elements like DnB parts, a smooth drive, an orchestral touch and some heavy riffing. Not to mention the fact that Su-metal is credited for the lyrics on this one for the first time. And what is common to both songs and my favorite thing is actually Su-metal's amazing vocals. It looks like the new songs are heavily vocal-oriented and that's perfect for me, being myself an addict to her singing voice. Until next time! 🤘🦊

They usually have a big production for the opening song of their concerts which this was. You should check out "In The Name Of" which was the opener for previous "Legend" shows. When they play next on Fox Day April 1st they'll be revealing who the permanent 3rd member of the group is going to be, there's been lots of fun speculation as to who that is 🦊🤘

The Babymetal story continues. Babymetal has three storylines: The first is a story they made up about Su-metal and Moametal, who are building a kingdom. The second is about BabyMetal's own members, Su and Moa, who will have a third member and a busy year. The third is Su and Moa's own story, which is almost hidden and only a few parts are known. I love and look forward to all of BabyMetal's stories.

BABYMETAL have shared a new track that’s set to appear on their new album ‘THE OTHER ONE’. And it’s a big one. It’s called ‘METAL KINGDOM’ and is as atmospheric and powerful as it gets, with plenty of soaring riffs and heavenly vocals. It’s further proof of just how vast this new record is set to be, and testament to the band’s desire to create something truly spectacular. DIVINE ATTACK:- It's really atmospheric which I like. Divine Attack brought the hype and Monochrome brought beautiful vibes. The next single will bring the heavy vibes I hope. Well, this song certainly shows that the few second snippets don't really spoil or give away the songs at all. The chorus with the is catchy, but the drum riffs are the jam for me upon first couple of listens. Since the snippets don't reveal the songs, I'm wondering if the five songs that will be released aren't gonna reveal the final album as a concept album, once released and listened to in full and in sequence, as most concept albums are meant to be listened to. Being that this album is conceptual, and should probably be listened to as a whole and in order, this could be a fun slow-burn reveal to
