I forgot how much I love Gary Mauer. One of the best Phantoms ever. He is a such a vocal beast. His voice had all the colors necessary to handle this role. He could be intimating and imposing, while also being incredible tender and vulnerable.

I wonder how Gary felt when they performed this scene?. remember, he and Elizabeth are married in real life, I can only imagine how uncomfortable it is for him to see his wife kiss another man, and he has to act jealous and heartbroken about it. I wouldn't be surprised if in real life, he had a discussion with Elizabeth about this scene, and whether she can give him some reassurance
