Use a gatorade bottle cut the bottom off use it as a funnel because that'll be a good one for a large mouth gatorade bottle to fit perfectly in the tank lid without spilling

You make one hole for the mounting base plate. You don't put exhaust anywhere close to a door or window. You buy additional exhaust lengths to install correctly. You've also made an opening over the engine exhaust. You need to output pipe fitted securely cos you're risking fire if not. Ideally the fuel line would be fitted directly to tank. Heater with tank along side/in heater like your are designed to be fitted in a separate compartment with vents to open air (like gas tanks in campers) You might not want to tell people how to endanger themselves and instead advise people pay pros to do jobs that they are not capable of. Same goes for electrics, they might work but aren't necessary safe. There's a reason camper vans have electric and gas/fuel certificates. People please get professionals to carry work you're not familiar with. If you can't afford that then you can't afford a camper van with such luxury.

@@Fuel_my_Passion my question to you would be this, when the heater is on the engine won't be. So why is that an issue ? Secondly the opening in the floor is far enough away from the vehicle exhaust but I get your concern. The output pipe is secure it does not move at all so no risk of fire. Ideally yes the fuel pipe could have been connected to the main tank. But why do that when I got an all in one heater, that was the whole point. Used this for a long time, at first I kept checking it for the concerns you have but they are wrong as there is absolutely no issue at all. I also have a carbon monoxide detector which has never gone off. And before you ask.....yes it's fitted correctly. 👍

@@Rickandhisvan that heater you have is not designed to be installed as you have. It shoid be in a box open to air, hot air inlet enters the van and sealed to prevent fumes. If you're a petrol vehicle then you'd need a additional tank fitting externally or as above (vented). You can tap in to diesel fuel lines but to prevent issues with the vehicle it's best going in to the tank with the pickup pipe. You cut the heater pick up shorter than engine feed so you don't empty the tank keeping warm. It would normally take me between 4 and 8hr to fit @40-50 quid per hour (depends how you talk to me to what I charge;)

@@Rickandhisvan fumes can enter the vehicle via the holes, engine or heater fumes. You may even have mice enter, that'd be fun when they start eating ya cables or chewing ya fuel tank in there...

@@Rickandhisvan you're aiming to be an influencer, you're giving advice, showing people what to do. You're endangering people because you don't know what you're talking about. I'm not being a dick with ya mate but you do need to think about what you're putting out there and what damage it can cause Same goes with rolling up and parking where you feel fit - just because you can doesn't mean it's right to do so or safe to do so. The air intake under the van has nothing to do with the air in your van.
