It always amazed how different the actors were from their characters. Sherman Helmsley was usually very soft-spoken and Carroll O’Connor was bright and kind-hearted. They were both such incredible actors.

One thing I've noticed is that when Edith or Louise address the other family, it's either, "Mr. Bunker or Mrs. Bunker", or "Mr. Jefferson or Mrs. Jefferson", but when Archie and George talk, it's just "Bunker or Jefferson."

He is a little better than Archie. During The Jeffersons run, he admitted a few times, where he was wrong. While he did make comments, he was, even at certain times, nice to his white neighbors. I said certain times, where Archie was never kind to other races. Let's face it, he had a lot of patience towards Mr. Bentley who was always ringing their bell. I would have felt like slamming the door on a few times, and I am white. Between the two, being white, I will choose George over Archie any day.
