The world considered him tough for holding out against the sludge villain, but he only saw quirkless Izuku trying to save him. The world saw him win the tournament, but he only saw Todoroki holding back. The world saw All Might beating a great evil as his last act as a hero, but he only saw how he retired his idol.

I think All Might is a really well-done "Paragon of good" type character because he, at heart, is a "pure good" type. His flaw isn't because he is doing some shady shit for the good of many (Dumbledore) or invincible except some specific space rock (Superman) All Might's flaws and limitations are realistic and relatable, but he works hard to better himself, making him inspiring. His entrance at USJ had me feeling that, "I am here." I am finishing season 2, no spoiler.

But I really do love his character development. SPOILER UP AHEAD TO ALL THOSE WHO ONLY WATCH THE ANIME... I mean if you read the most recent chapter in the manga you would have seen how he literally sacrificed himself for Deku by getting stabbed by Shigaraki. He even said "don't play the hero Deku" and although you can interpret that as him still being a rival to Izuku, I interpret it as him saying "don't try to do it all by yourself, please accept help", showing that he has really come to care for Izuku. Plus he even says to All Might how he regrets bullying Izuku and how much he wishes to make it up to him. So I really love the character development there. But that's just my personal opinion. I'm not trying to say you must love him too. It's kinda like with Endeavour when you think about it. But I think we can all agree that Izuku must be protected at all costs!♥♥

I still can't believe that this kid was freaking out and the adults first instinct was to chain him up. I don't know about you guys but if I had been attacked by the sludge monster I think being chained up, not being able to move, and having something covering my mouth would certainly remind me of that and probably bring back some painful memories. And even if being chained up didn't trigger any PTSD it was still in front of the entire world and that's humiliating in itself. Bakugo wanting to get first place in the sports festival was not just to win it was to prove to himself that he was worthy of being a hero and that he was good enough, and the fact that Todoroki didn't give it his all made bakugo feel like he didn't actually deserve to win, and instead of reasoning with him and trying to calm him down the teachers thought it would be a great idea to chain him up and put him on display for the world. Haha as you can see I'm very passionate about this 😭

Bruh he was trying to attack another student. It was even exaggerated for comedy purposes. Haven't you seen something like that before? If it were serious they would have addressed it a long time ago. Bakugo stans always try to make him look like a victim.

@@hellothere10yearsago97 we know that, it’s just that the joke felt really forced. Is it funny? Absolutely. Does it devalue Bkg’s character? 100% YES. My only problem with the author is how he has bias to make certain characters not having comedic relief moments at all and other certain characters having A LOT OF random “out of place” comedic relief moments that can legitimately ruin the characters themselves. You only hate on Bkg stans because they’re more vocal, you’re probably an Ocha stan or a Deku stan cause they’re the only ones who blindly hates on Bkg stans all the time.

I know this was supposed to be more funny than anything, but all I can think about his how heroes, actual heroes, muzzled Bakugou who almost suffocated to death not so long ago. They chained (the same the League used, I might add) and muzzled a sixteen years old kid, just because he wouldn't accept winning like this, which was his right. If the others kids from class B could abandon because they felt like they didn't deserve to continue in the tournament after Shinsou used them earlier, Bakugou sure as hell could refute his first place.
