All Natural Goats Milk and Oatmeal Soap Tutorial

I forgot to mention this is in the video but it would help to insulate the soap as it sits in the mold to prevent a soap crack!
RECIPE
23 ounces tallow
10 ounces coconut oil
4.9 ounces sodium hydroxide
11 ounces of liquid (could be milk or water)
1 cup oats (grind down in blender or food processor)

Do you measure the coconut oil as a solid or do you melt it than measure, I know in the video you just put it in but I'm just wondering for like all the soap recipes ? (If that makes sense)

It will weigh pretty much the same whether it's a liquid or solid:) sometimes my coconut oil is already pretty much a liquid because it is so hot in the summer and sometimes it's like rock hard in the winter when I go to scoop it out, either way I measure the same. Just make sure you are weighing with a scale always (avoid measuring cups in soap making)
