Not to sound negative, but how do Echo Frames differ from just wearing earphones with a mic? If the frames only give audio feedback, couldn't I just use headphones and choose any sunglasses I prefer? Is there something more to it?

I have the 2nd generation and I could never image my life without them anymore. They are one of the best things I have ever purchased! I also have prescription lenses in mine which was simple to do. I just took the frames to my eye place and gave them the instructions that came with the glasses and a week later they were done. I use them for work because I cannot wear earbuds so these are perfect because I can still hear what is going on around me. Also never having to keep up with earbuds is great and you have audio whenever you want and most people are not aware of it.

My only complaint has been shorter than desired battery life and audio can times be non existent in remotely noisy areas.

This commercial is very very annoying. I believe in multitasking, but I do not believe that people can give their full attention to something else when they’re blabbing about something else on 0:02 their glasses.😢

How does Alexa still work on the glasses once you leave her house though , like is it synced to ur iPhone or cellphone ?

I don’t have Alexa glasses, but I do have smart glasses that have speakers in them. I much prefer them to earphones. For me ear earphones were always falling out and I couldn’t hear other things if I wanted to all wearing them. I just find them more comfortable and prefer them to stuffing things in my ears.

Friend, this is not the time nor the place. As a fellow Christian, this comment doesn’t really fit in here. There are two problems with it: 1.) There is specific context here. If you read it in the original language and study what each word means, it becomes obvious that it is talking about women being prohibited to serve in their military and for men to dress up as women to avoid doing so. There are better verses to support your point, but this isn’t it. 2.) We cannot hold unbelievers to our standards. It is not fair, nor does it make sense. Granted, I can easily tell who’s a man and who’s a woman here. But even if I couldn’t, at the end of the day, it’s their salvation, not ours. It’s between them and the Lord. Save your energy and knowledge for someone in your own life, like someone at your church, or a family member. God knows how many people in our own lives are just waiting to be discipled.

Beware… These are a downgrade from 2nd Gen in many ways! Audio is better and you can pair 2 devices which is good. But lenses are smaller, it’s hard to charge and you just use the stand… and worst is they took away the touchpad on the arms. So you can’t swipe or tap to answer calls etc!! You need to press small buttons. Also a cheaper case…. I am probably returning mine. Happy with Gen 2 but use swipe all the time and these don’t have it.
