You should make a video on how to set up this clutches for different ride styles, for like trails, race, a mix of trails and race, Dunes etc.

Hello, looks good just wondering about the rollers wearing on the ali as it slides up and down
@EvolutionPowersports10 ай бұрын
There's way less friction with the rollers vs the older button style spider that had to keep tolerances incredibly tight. This setup is night and day smoother, plus the clutch towers have also been reinforced with additional billet.

Rollers have been tested for thousands of miles and outlast button slider setups by a wide margin

Great clutch! What secondary do you recommend for the turbo pro r's? round 400hp.

We have calibrations designed for use with the STM secondary - give us a call and we can get you dialed!

P-Drive's as well? And how would you rate it compared to the new kwi clutch.
@EvolutionPowersports10 ай бұрын
The TAPP would replace your PDrive - it's a full OEM primary clutch replacement, but yes we do have calibrations for all EVP-tuned and/or stock ECU '22+ RR's and '23+ base models with the PDrive. The PDrive is a great clutch, but has a few drawbacks. It is certainly not as durable or as easily adjustable as the Tapp. We have no experience with the KWI clutch, however, a roller clutch will always outperform a button style clutch. We have tested the Tapp Roller to over 800 horsepower on our Pro R Turbo.

If you guys really wanted to sell these where's the comparison videos? Tap vs stock, tap with stm secondary vs all stm? Belt slip at high rpm on stock machines vs these? Come on guys!

MrSteve, what you are asking for is a comparison in clutch calibrations. This is not something we are going to do a video on. The issues with other clutches are well known in the industry. Tapp solves the issues we discussed and makes for an incredibly smooth and easy to adjust clutch which is extremely durable under high horsepower and race applications. In addition, no one else in the industry takes the time and effort to provide proper calibrations for all of the tunes and turbo systems we sell.

@EvolutionPowersports thanks for the response and great work you guys do! I'm just suggesting take a machine and do a comparison or 0-60 times compared to different clutches and temps ? If you run a stock clutch and then run a STM comparison for example it gets dramatic faster. I bet most don't know that there is a difference? Take a pro xp or turbo R and do a few hard runs and you're slipping and burning belts ... slap in a TAP clutch and show the difference? Just some suggestions. Take care.
