I think that at some point in development it was clear that spideys story was a little more complex than what we ended up with - the cutscenes that we did have i think we’re really setting up mark raxton to become molten man alongside alchemax working with aim - assuming after the budget getting slashed after launch something of that scale being locked to one platform was completely out of the question. great video :)

Maybe if there was a sequel game in the making and leaning towards other threats while keeping the amount of Avengers as well as move sets intact and finding a way to explore other regions new threats to fight while adding other characters to prepare for the Kree. Since the Cloning Lab and Winter Soldier arc, I had to make my personal head canon story, that after Monica and MODOK teleported away in No Rest For The Wicked and failed in controlling him given she miscalculated the effects of the Winter Soldier protocols on MODOK's brain due to it's size compared to normal brains (fused with his skull) she disappeared and some of the AIM board of directors are revaluating her job performance and there's not much of an empire to run combined with the Spider-Man story of AIM's actions being deemed illegal in the public eye.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but I remember seeing a roadmap of sorts on one of miller’s stream showing vision, war machine, captain marvel and dr strange. If I remembered correctly, he mentioned the studio was planning to have a small team in china or korea work on the animations.

The real reason this game never got to it's full potential is because the studios that were above CD, they really didn't have that much support form their parent companies, now Embracer Group is starting to lay CD workers off and I've heard their looking to sell some studios they bought (including CD). Now I'm hearing rumors that Microsoft or Amazon are looking to buy those studios, it's just a big mess rn man, i honestly feel bad for CD. 💯

Honestly I think we should have gotten some more iconic avengers instead of most the characters we got. At the time no one really knew who Kate Bishop was and I think it would have been better to add a well known avenger like Vision, Falcon, Captain Marvel, Ant Man, or Wasp for the first new character. I also think Hawkeye should have been added instead of Kamala on release. I think Spider-Man, Jane, and Bucky should have been replaced with some actual avengers too. Especially since Spider-Man is only playable on PlayStation

While I personally kinda hate the game, I do wish they could’ve continued updating it mainly for the actual content cause I was interested to see what they’d do, especially with the Kree Invasion even if it was all way too spaced out. I hope Marvel one day will revive this universe and make a comic continuation of it, kinda like how they made comics for it following the Avengers Pre-A-Day, to continue these stories, bring in more characters including planned ones like She-Hulk, War Machine, and Captain Marvel, but also so they wouldn’t be as restricted with what we see, I say that because most of the cutscenes in dlc stories barely had most of the Avengers in them aside from the final cutscene of Kate’s dlc so a comic would allow everyone to be there like whenever they’d get to the Kree Invasion, if that’s were Captain Marvel would come in then they wouldn’t have to keep whatever we see to her and Kamala (cause let’s be real, if they were gonna give Carol like a partner or something like Clint and Kate, it was gonna undoubtedly be Kamala) and we could see all of the Avengers there, and maybe they could also include Spider-Man as well if Sony can’t stop them from that with a comic

Imo the main problem with this game was the lack of enemy types and main bosses. I still cant believe there are so few bosses. Adding new heroes is cool but would u rather have new enemies to fight or do all the same stuff u just did with a new hero ? But the way they were making $$$ was by selling skins so adding new heroes was always going to be a priority.

@@Ironsmashweb Another major mistake they made was focusing the main story on that young girl. No one bought this damn game to play as Kamala. I'm aIso surprised they never added Ultron. He would have been pretty easy to add since the game is full of robot enemies. The fighting is pretty fun. The animations look good. The level design wasn't very good but if they added more enemies and bosses most people would be OK with it . I really hope we get a sequel. I heard it lost quite a bit of money so that probably won't happen.

Now this game has "died out".. I'd essentially love to get a NEW Marvel Heroes game, like we had for 4 years with what ended being called *Marvel Heroes Omega* . I played that on PC, since the Beta in 2013 and I couldn't even begin to tell you the amount of hours, I spent on that game. That is essentially what this game tried to be.. And ultimately, failed. This game was so mismanaged, with so many missing elements. I mean, a game about the Avengers and yet, absolutely no Avengers Tower as a Hub. One of the biggest disappointments for me, with this game.. Was the servers/lobbies and matchmaking. They were (and still are) horrendous and easily one of the weakest points in the game. But all of this content that we've now gotten, I repeatedly ask why (since this last update).. WHY did we not get all these changes and implementations, sooner/earlier in the game's lifespan. Especially when it came to the MCU outfits and various different skins. I will still play the game (as I have been doing). For how long, though? I can't say. But yeah.. Right now, I would love for a "Marvel Heroes Omega" reboot, done by the same studio as the Diablo games. I still kinda' have PTSD about that game, because I miss it, terribly. It was so much fun! But because of the jackass CEO and his unprofessionalism (which you can read all about on Reddit, with links to Imgur).. The game was then shut-down by Marvel and Disney.

I had allot of fun with the game but no Marvel game has disappointed me more honestly. The roster was pretty disappointing. Black Widow was the only standalone female hero in the game not tied to another more popular Superhero.

Gameplay was boring, repetitive as fuck, no diversity in enemies or game design. Way too focused on loot, stats and effects instead of the actual characters. If this was a story based game I think it wouldve been way more popular but the developers tried to force a looter shooter model that was broken and obviously doesn't fit a superhero game at all. Not to mention the monetisation and cosmetics. Just my thoughts on what went wrong, I used to be so excited for this game and watching it go down the drain was crushing

I hate it when KZbinrs do the "x percent of viewers are not subscribed" thing. That's a thumbs down always. "subscribe " being flashed on the screen in the middle of the video is also cheap. The audio and video quality are bad. Build your audience gradually and up your quality first. You have potential.
