I ended up pre-ordering Soundwave as he is my favorite Character and I missed out on SS86 Rumble so nows my chance to get him! Also that addition of Buzzsaw is a nice inclusion, although I wished they did a better Ravage but Buzzsaw and Rumble definitely makes it up in my opinion.

I somehow couldn't land SS86 Frenzy in Target and still waiting on my BBTS order of SS86 Frenzy. The distribution of TF's in US retail stores have been all over the place in term of consistency. I don't get it, why can't be just get a normal G1 Ravage? If you already have Laserbeak or you will get Buzzsaw in this Soundwave set, any 3rd party design molds with their G1 like laser mounts?

Despite many of these being heavy repaints and redecos I love them! I am definitely getting TFA Motormaster because the TFA United Optimus Prime mould is amazing, Cyberverse Slipstream because I feel like she looks better than the Windblade from earlier on. Armada Galvatron I was a little hesitant on but have changed my mind due to loving the new colour scheme and facial expression and finally G1 Optimus Prime due to nostalgia. A solid wave to me and can’t wait to see what is next.

My thoughts on the upcoming toys in legacy united: Energon universe Galvatron: Easy repaint, easy money. Infernac universe Geocron: That new head just makes Geocron more alien. Spooky, right? Cyberverse universe Slipstream: The colors on her scream beauty. G1 universe Quake with g1 universe Heater and g1 universe Tiptop: Pretty decent. G1 universe Optimus Prime: Yellow eyes! This is amazing! G1 universe Metalhawk: Do the people need another Metalhawk? Animated universe Motormaster: He's not just any Motormaster. He is THE Motor Master. G1 universe Soundwave with g1 universe Rumblue, g1 universe Buzzsaw and g1 universe Ravage: The colors for Buzzsaw are just shiny. I like it. Armada universe Galvatron: We all saw it coming.

Best: G1 Optimus, Slipstream, and Quake | Optimus is perfect in every single way; perfect truckmode, botmode, and accesories! I could give KGDM Optimus an extra Ion Blaster. Really want him! Quake is perfect; *_Perfect!_* And Slipstream isn't 100% ideal, especially accuracy-wise, but shes cool. I would've preferred her to be still a Windblade retool, but practically the whole upper-body retooled; new head, chest, shoulders, forarms, wings. But, shes still a cool version of Slipstream. You can't mount her Null Rays on her arms in the traditional Seeker style, but you _can_ mount them on the backs of her forearms or shoulders. Its at least something. Quake, Optimus, and Slipstream are easy pick ups. I'd love some more Cyberverse characters in Legacy, cuz we only have Windblade (still need her). I'd kill for a CV Hot Rod and Soundwave, and a *proper* Shadowstriker! Quite good: Metalhawk, Motormaster, Geocron | Metalhawk's new colors are definitely better. May or may not get him, Idk. Maybe. Motormaster looks great, but I don't really want him; got nothing against him, tho. Geocron's colors are cooll Idk if I'll get them. Good, but waiting for new one: Soundwave | Idk if I'll get him or not, but the set looks cool. I'd love a new G1 Soundwave that is super accurate in both modes, is Voyager-scale, scales nicely with Blaster, and includes at least [a new] Laserbeak. Just flat-out cool: Gobots set and Autobot Flame and Xaaron set | Idk Flame at all, but he looks really cool! He kinda looks like Hot Rod's evil grandfather! 😆 The resemblance is kinda uncanny 😆 Xaaron looks cool. The Gobots set looks really cool, despite me knowing barely anything abt Gobots. Probably not gonna get either sets, but Idk, maybe??? Don't care: Armada and Energon Galvatron | Idc for the Unicron Trilogy that much.

but no beast wars or beast machines though.... i really want to finish the full cast of beast wars. we only need depthcharge rampage and quickstrike :( also the transmetals... transmetal 2 megatron was such a tease and just left it at that and then randomly gave us that horrible core class beast machines cheetor. i am greatful for the soundwave though because i missed out on rumble and i dont have this soundwave. i was able to find frenzy at walmarta while ago so im pretty excited now to display them all together :)

Motor master is awesome. Soundwave wish they replaced the blue cassette with a repaint into Enemy. Odds are this was sued because they needed a leader and didn’t want release another leader figure. And figure since Takara reused it for Nemesis 3 pack, decided Soundwave to replace that spot. G1 Prime, I’m shocked by how much it ended up looking like MS toy. I thought it was just going to be a smaller version of ER design just with some toy aesthetic (aka yellow eyes).

Probably won't get this set. The cassettes look pretty bad, especially Ravage. Rumble and Frenzy have poor articulation with the only saving grace being the weapons they come with. I opted to replace all of the cassette bots with an extra set of Masterpiece ones that scale better with Soundwave. If you can find a KFC Transistor (Blaster) with all of his cassette bots for cheap, those are better replacements for the current ones that Hasbro has for Blaster.

The designer messed up his VW Bug car mode! Saw what the original prototype was and it was almost a perfect VW Bug, but apparently the transformation process for that prototype was not good enough. BB prototype robot mode was actually not so bad.

Given the jet that Leader-1 is?? Metalhawk (himself a Cyclonus retool) wouldn't work; you'd need either a very heavy retool of the Earthrise Seeker mold or a retool of Combiner Wars Airraid (with Slingshot's head). Other ideas they'd have to go into the mold vault for: • Staxx: CW Optimus Prime mold, no heads at all, akin to artwork on one of the FunPub comics • Hans-cuff: Streetwise/Prowl version of the CW Deadend/Wildrider mold • Cy-Kill: heavy retool of SS86 Wreck-Gar if they use a Seeker for Leader-1, retool of Deluxe class CW Groove mold or (eww) heavy retool of Legacy TFP Arcee/G2 Road Rocket mold if they use CW Airraid for Leader-1 • Spay-C: They may need Takara's help for this...have her as a retool of Classics/Henkei Astrotrain!! • Turbo: Retool of SS86-4 Hot Rod or Legacy Pointblank • Fitor: Legacy Metalhawk would actually fit better here, maybe even the Titans Return Metalhawk that was a repaint of Triggerhappy from that box set... • Herr Fiend/Zeemon/Psycho: Ohhh, this is the fun one. They're retools of each other, so let's make all three of'em repaints of Kingdom Rodimus Prime. NO trailer, NO gun, NO sword, NO Matrix, and only a blast effect that'll fit onto the forearm pipes. The only disadvantage is that it makes them about Leader class, but that's a win anyway considering that the original molds were in the "Super Go-Bots" line, so they're bigger than most others anyway. Legay G1 Optimus is really the only thing I legit look forward to. Let the Baby G.O.A.T. shine before the SS86 Commander class drops as the REAL G.O.A.T. of Generations as a whole.

95% of these reveals are a disappointment. Having to pay $55+ in order to get Buzzsaw is a ripoff for whomever needs one (I'm sticking with the MP version). Slipstream is a cheap waste. Don't care about the Go-Bot figures or Quake. Sticking with the TR version. So the only set I preordered was Xxaron and Flame.

legacy united wave 4 mostly doesn't interest me however the deluxe optimus would be a nice figure to grab, as well at another chance of the netflix soundwave mold for people to collect. The marvel uk 2-pack is sure interesting and the gobots representation is nice, even if I'm not necessarily going to pick up that 3-pack.

Hard to get excited honestly. The Soundwave I kind of like but he seems practically the same as the Shattered Glass one I have and I'm not about to buy a whole set just to get that Rumble out of the others simply being recolours of what I have. I'd rather wait and see what else they come out with. Motormaster looks cool but I'm just not sure about that one either. I'm very much thinking wait and see at the moment. If I could choose one from Animated I think it'd have to be Swindle. I already have the Legacy Menasor set also. Kind of like the idea of Straxus at least but I just don't know about that figure. My only other rule with this collecting lark is no buying just for the sake of it and I'm just not sure I like it as part of my collection. It's odd how addictive this business actually is and the denial is strong it seems but anyway... Happy enough with my Galvatron and looking forward to getting the comic Shockwave next month. Might be nice to be able to spend more on these as I do enjoy the figures I have but I struggle at this point to justify such expenses even if there weren't something rather unsettling about all this to my mind at least. It reeks of manipulation but what doesn't these days? Good times.

As someone who rarely or never read the comics (I don't hate them, I just prefer films and visual media) Flame and Emirate Xarron means ALOT to me because it was the first comic of the few I've ever read and it interested me deeply to the extent I no joke had a dream after it of Flame waking up in a dead cybertron. Also it's interesting af that Flame is an evil autobot, a rare thing to see.

Soundwave and the GoBots are a must. I'm on the fence about optimist. I never buy the cork last figures unless they're cassettes or something that scales with the regular figures. I've got windblade I'm not that impressed with her that being said I've never liked female Transformers to begin with but I've said that before too. I am still waiting on the reveal of Studio 86 Optimus Prime when are they going to get to him I know he's coming out this year we've seen the leaks that he's coming out this year I just haven't seen the figure I'm dying here I've got to get him on my pre-order as soon as they release him

All these figures yellowing soon after release is pretty terrible qc on Hasbro's part. I have the Netflix Soundwave and that yellowed without me ever taking it out of the box. I paid retail for it but so many were sold on eBay for double or triple their cost so I'm sure quite a few collectors feel screwed over. I guess I can disassemble it and replace the parts with a Siege version or just paint it if I really wanted to but I also have the Bridge set version. I hope that one doesn't yellow too. 🙄
