I don't know anything about 40k, only that the designs are dependent on the easy production of their miniatures since you can only make moldings so complicated at that scale lol, I imagine most of what is parodied here is accurate to the lore and I love it

You are the first person I have seen pick up on the fact that Space King's statement to the Captain that he is talking to him and "only him," is inconsistent with the fact that he is also talking to the other members of his squad. This either implies that Space King is lying (HERESY!) or that they are all delusional. Great video!

This was really fun, seeing someone who knows 40k watch this series. Also about the giant skull. I doubt that is the mechanicus, it's either the replacement ruler for the space king (we don't know how high it's in the ranking after all). Or a stand in for the Inquisition, since death watch teams are generally led by an inquisitior and the skull seems to be the one giving them orders. Or it might be the general leadership of Ordo Xenos. But what is more likely that it is of a unspecified position of leadership high enough to command and manage reclaimer squads as i doubt they will get into the specifics of the command chain. These are my theories on what it is but it could also just be the mechanicus as you said, who knows.

The little girls in a volcano is a joke, and pretty much the opposite from what the joke is about. in the actual Warhammer 40k, women are too valuable to the imperium to risk for super soldiers. Most births in the Imperium are natural. Also you have the Adepta Sororitas who are just so holy they are superhuman without being superhuman.

The one thing no one has caught yet, is that the globulus that the captain is giving to the alien queen is the same globulus that was inserted in the boy from the intro, and was the one who died in the first scene of this episode delivering the message.
