Akil Baddoo would probably be the guy you send down for Meadows. Also imagine if his brother Austin was around and feeling good. He’d be great for this young team.

Agree that Skubal should be the lone all-star this year. Flaherty should get some votes, but his value is getting larger as the trade deadline approaches. Sigh...more prospects.

I listen to Power Alley on MLB Radio and watch MLB Central and both shows are talking and recognizing the greatness that is Reese Olson.

Brewer fan here. Yes, you'll get Freddy Peralta today, on Saturday. Brewers are favored, with a fresh bullpen ready to go. You're right about Joey Ortiz being a great pickup for the crew. As you stated, his OPS and batting average are beyond expectations.

Parker Meadows will certainly get another chance, but it could be a while. Right now, they need to take a look at Baddoo, Perez and Malloy.

Is there any way you would ever post more than 1 video a day or have longer videos more for the minor leagues. I find the minor league players and their development just as exciting as watching the Tigers

We dont have much offensive numbers to warrant any position player selection to the All Star team. Kerry is out of the running. But, we could have 4 or 5 All Star representatives in Toledo icluding Parker & Tork. Dont know whether to laugh or cry. Great show, Scott. Thanks

If we want to get to 80 to 85 wins. We better add a bat or 2. (Not from Toledo). I had hopes of a wild card spot but our pitching will not last the whole season. If the owners and the people running the team will not spend. Then let's just call up everyone we can that we call Top Prospect and let them play. It does not matter if you win 80 games and miss the Playoffs or win 60 games and miss the playoffs. Go Tigers

Lange is trade bait to me. It's nice to see he hasn't walked anybody in AAA, but as you said, it's 5 innings. If he does that over, like, 15 innings, then yeah I would consider bringing him back up but I'd be looking to trade a guy who seems like he's kinda yips prone before he implodes again.

Bullsheet if they are still 2.5 games out of the last WC spot they should give up 4 middling prospects to Houston for JVs expiring contract. Given the contract and his age we won’t have to give up much at all. I’ll put up a rotation of Skubal, Flaherty, Verlander, Olson and Mize against any rotation in the league. I’d also contact the Mets and see what they’d want for JD Martinez and his also expiring contract.
