BeepULON!!!! You need flint to add to the sharpening kit, also Dunc: throw a diamond/redstone/coal into the enrichment chamber to make compressed versions that times their use in the metallurgic infusers by 10.

you can upgrade mechanism cables by right clicking them with enriched alloy so you don't have to break them and put them down again.

But due to the way they work, basic cables are usually fine for quite some time.... if anyone ever read the Wiki. "Each cable network has a certain transfer rate and capacity (energy stored in the cables). The capacity is the sum of the capacity of all cables in a network, the transfer rate is the same, but per tick."

You can't add more modifiers on Tinker's anymore, outside of Creative mode. You CAN level the tools up infinitely though, and get one more modifier per level. Just go to the hunting dimension and spam the infinite shuriken.

You can hold SHIFT or CTRL when hovering over tools and weapons for DIFFERENT stats, it's not the same info. If you go with a prismarine blade you get "jagged" which increases the damage for each durability point lost, which you can get by adding the unbreakable when you're at 1 "durability" (you'll get a bit more from the better materials when switching paper though). A bone blade gives you splintering, which also increases your damage and as the other guy said makes you able to repair it with a cheap material which helps leveling for the modifiers to reach unbreakable. If that pack comes with Twilight Forest & Integration then there's also the knightmetal which has high base stats and gives Twilit which increases damage in pretty much every dimension except the Twilight Forest (I believe it's a speed boost there). Unfortunately you can't use netherrack because blades count as heads so you can't get Hellish (bonus damage vs non nether mobs - good as binding).

Ben, you can see how much power a mekanism machine uses by hovering over the lightning bolt icon in the bottom left. You can click it to switch between power types (RF is the most popular).

As far as I'm aware, the extra modifier modifiers were taken out of the mod after 1.7.10 , but Sjin's right, they were diamond+gold block, diamond block+Notch apple and a Nether star, all of which could be added once per tool/weapon for an extra slot

Fun fact about shinobi and their use of shuriken/kunai. They are not for dealing damage or killing anyone. You use them to distract your foe with pain, or smear the shuriken with poo so the victim gets sick from being hit. Same for the infamous groumd spikes. They are not for escaping. Any idiot can see them and step around them, so you throw them at the ground around your opponent during combat so they have more things to think about, distracting them. That way, you can use your rope with sickle and weight to disarm, bind and shank your opponent or just throw a blinding bomb (an egg filled with random shit.) into their eyes and use the opening to disappear.
