I always promised I'd tell Rob the story of my encounter with the young Nigerian lad on a street near my home, Woodside, Aberdeen. His Group met in a local School. I remember that day with much happiness, Rob, but despite the light-heartedness I can only think that God was guiding me. I'm sure David Philp in Cornwall will know "Have You Any Room For Jesus?" First heard this lovely Hymn while on holiday in Los Cristianos, Tenerife, in 1994, Rob, but it was on the go long, long before that! Have since sung it in the Kirk here at home but haven't heard it for some time. There's nothing to beat these old Hymns. Sankey hymn nice but you forgot the last few chords at the end, organist normally repeats the last line over i e "I surrender all" i should know because i have played for lots of sankey evenings this is friendly advice .
