9:33 This talk spake so profoundly to my soul, bringing me to tears when I heard the importance of being in the Temple, the House of the Lord!!! ❤ I know what I need to do now!!! Thank you!!! ❤^^

President Eyring, we love you so much. This talk was so inspired. I was very surprised and yet calmed by the repeating of two stories told in general conference just a couple of years ago. The fact that they were re-told, tells me that President Eyring knows that we need to hear them again (maybe we weren’t paying enough attention the first time around!!) I pray that I will be able to stand in places that the Lord can dwell, and that when the call comes, I will be ready to walk away!!!!!

The last time I went to the Lord's house I felt that familiar eternal glory of the time before my mortal life. It was only for a few moments, but I will never forget that.

I was there….I was home in Idaho Falls for the weekend, and the whole city sandbagged, and in 36 hours we had the river contained. There was minimal flooding, and the city was saved. Then we went up in caravans to help the residents of Rexburg, and after that, I got my belongings, said good-bye to my roommate, and went home with my parents, who came to pick me up. We became fast friends with the widow we helped, and visited her every year on our way to or from our timeshare up north of there.

"As often as circumstances allow" can be as often as multiple times a week. I never thought that was practicable, but then I met someone who does it. That person works a physically demanding full-time job and lives an hour away from the nearest temple. He's a normal and well-adjusted member of society, not, like, some Swedenborg, or St. Francis, who only prays and fasts and contemplates the scriptures (not that those guys should be denigrated, but that their lives may seem unrelatable). I did it once (before the temple closed last week), and the results were noticeably cool. 10 out of 10, would recommend, man. I'm going to keep doing it.

I found that I could do an endowment at 5pm then Iniatories and sealings or switching the last two. I have a 1:45 hour drive to our temple. Our temple is adding a bunch of new sessions some days we will have 6. I would love to try to do 6 endowments in one day. The most I have participated in is 2.

President Eyring was such a good president of Ricks College, and I learned much when he talked at the devotionals. He has always had lots of wisdom for us to follow, and I must say that there was nothing like the Spirit of Ricks when I was there. It was very special, because of the Lord and His chosen leadership for us. Thank you, President Eyring.

There’s undoubtedly lots of destruction to come in this world. I think our beloved apostles are trying to prepare us for the second coming. ❤

I wonder if we’re in the midst of the tribulations prophesied would be coming before the Savior’s Second Coming. President Nelson prophesied of pressures and “perils” and how Satan’s attacks are increasing. It says in the scriptures that he would rage because he knows his time is short.

I thought the same thing about President Nelson's talk in October 2019 - so did many of my family members. Yet, he's still here! I would guess that these committed men know that they are getting close, but may not know the exact timeline. Like Elder Holland said today, a few more weeks or a few more months.... Either way, time is short.
@GaryYates-pi9gy9 ай бұрын
Yeah! It seems to me that as time is short, the first presidency's sermons will be written as if it was their last one...Just in case! So therefore I am anxious to get all the information I can get with each latest sermon that they deliver! They have been and will be gems for sure! 😇
