I live pretty close to Luxe buffet, have been there multiple times. Personally I would not recommend this place. To be fair, before Covid this place was pretty legit, but not anymore. Since covid, I have been there both during weekdays and weekends. On the weekdays the few options they had were dry and stale, on the weekends a bit more options but their quality is not good enough to justify the $40 they charge, the lobster was soooo small and dry it was a joke. you can only get 1 lobster half at once, and the in between time for them to bring out a new batch of lobsters was looooooong. Staff was friendly though. If I came here after your video I’d be absolutely disappointed. Honestly seeing you rave about a at-best-mediocre place kinda makes me doubt the legitimacy of your reviews. Like did they pay you to say good things about them or you are just too nice and say good things about all restaurants you visit? Sorry if I sound harsh, I just don’t want to be excited about a restaurant because of your review only to be utterly disappointed when I actually visit.

As stated, stick to the lobsters, crab, and oysters, and you'll be fine. If you go in with high expectations at buffets in CA, you will be disappointed most times.

I too live close to this Luxe and found the experience underwhelming. I have eaten many times at Luxe Buffet Ontario and when the Westminster restaurant opened I was excited. However the quality of the food is not comparable to the Ontario restaurant.

Came here because I saw this video. Would never come back. Crab legs did not taste fresh Oysters had a unusual taste Lobsters were okay. 2 people with soft drink and tip =$106 I could think of other places where I can spend that money better

I am Vietnamese and go down to Little Saigon once a month. Glad to hear that this option is available. The mall--I thought it was empty. It's just a major draw as a Tesla Charging Station. Not sure if I would pull the trigger. When I go to the area, I do restaurants that specialize in just one specific dish. Lobster is tempting, though.

IE LUX has gone down hill. The crab is puny and not up to par. As was stated in this episode, that golden liquid substance coming from that small dispenser is exactly what he described it to be. Imitation butter that the theaters pour into your popcorn. Unfortunately, the pandemic affected the quality of those items that are served at this Buffet. They have done away with the hand served flavored carousel that contained all of the wonderful flavors of ice cream and in my opinion it's no longer worth the price.

I will be in southern CA soon and was looking for good places to eat. Unfortunately after watching your incredible recommendation I went to Yelp to see what others were saying. Boy what an opposite view. Most of them were one star ratings with awful terrible views on the food and service. Don't know who to believe anymore.

No way this place is good I’ve eaten here 3x and each of time is the same Lux Buffet is NOT good the fishes and 4th grades just for cooking not for sushi and the lobster are frozen dry when they cook it and really small the flavor are cover up with overload mayonnaise and all of there cooked item is Panda food to go grade’s

Smart. Start eating the the best in the beginning and then work your way down. Personally, I'd just do all lobster, ONLY lobster and the pamolley and all and scrape off that cheese whatever because that's their trick to have you get full fast. The cheese glazing on the lobsters.
