Is there a “first time” carpet cleaning run through for the Orbiter? Basically, I bought one to start a cleaning business because I currently clean by hand, but I have no idea how to use it and I’m epileptic so I need to hurry up!

It's just a cd with a couple strips of velcro to help it hold on to the pad.

It's a glider to help the machine spin a little faster. My Challenger uses them so I tried one out on the Orbiter and saw how much it helped reduce the drag so now I almost always use it.

Hey partner, do you still use that Rid'z Odor deodorizer? Looking for a new deodorizer in my pre-spray. Does it have any soap or residue? Thanks.

Yep, still using it on every job unless the customer doesn't want any extra smells. According to the label it's a cleaner and deodorizer but I've never used it as anything other than a deodorizer. I've used it for years at home since I've consistantly had between 2 - 4 dogs and have never found it to leave any residue. It's cheap, effective, and customers love the smell *but* it contains Ethylene Oxide so I'm planning to find something else to replace it with.

I use 4-6 oz per gallon on all jobs. If there is an odor issue I'll do a light post spray and brush it into the carpet at 16 oz per gallon.
