@fatkid85235 жыл бұрын
@@Lethal.G37 for normal daily driving it doesnt matter. But in a front wheel drive car you want to apply throttle to kind of power through the turn and help keep the ass end of your car settled in. If you lift the throttle before the turn, it shifts the cars weight forward and makes the ass lighter and more prone to over steer. Basically you just want to apply throttle to keep your car consistant in the corner. But be warned, too much gas in a turn will overwhelm your front tires and cause you to "push" through the turn, or understeer. You can also use the oversteer you get from a light ass end to your advantage in certain situations.

I'm about to comment this. On my lancer before, I found a pair of surplus Juran strut bars front and rear. Its an improvement from no bars. But it has the bolt and nut(adjustable type). For me this bolt and nut area will act as a pivot point. If it has a double bolt and nut on the mounting point it could be better(almost same as the Ultra Racing bars). Now I have UR bars also. BUT the cons of UR bars are they are heavy as fuck. Lol. Steel.

Another HUGE thing. (Old video I know Anthony) but I often see videos with strut bars but NO one talks about having brackets that move or are adjustable. If they can move, your strut bar is nearly worthless. What I mean by that*** IF you have joints on each side, what exactly is your strut bars keeping from moving? Under load, those two brackets with bolts/joints on each end or literally moving duder. Strut bars engineered as a ONE-PIECE are the only strut bars that actually stop the body from flexing when bolted onto your chassis strut towers/ other various locations that don't quite have stoutly engineered support. This is for all vehicle manufactures. Cheers hope all is well my friend!

You noticed it because much of the suspension parts are well worn. The Strut bar/brace does help on hard turns, cornering and on bumpy roads on an older vehicle. Does little for a new car. Also, Honda Civic is a light weight FWD vehicle therefore, even better sort of. If the strut brace/ bar nuts are not tight according to Car manufacturer torque specs and wherever the adjustment are to make it completely stiff ...if it wiggles it is not tight enough. When you tug, push and pull hard on the bar it will move the car and any movement in the bar then ain't tight enough.

Gotta cut down on the side-to-side head movements (up/down too but less of an issue) if you're gonna use the head cam but appreciate the video in general. If it's just hard to do: Go from your current 60fps down to 30fps, shoot in wide (or 2k), then use digital image stabilizing in post. This will give you a lot of extra frame for stabilizing to cut while maintaining 1080p overall.

@Seeeeyaaaa5 жыл бұрын
What you want is swaybars front and rear. They will improve body roll more so than strut braces, those wheels scrub pretty bad too i noticed. Different offsets could probably have solved that but i guess they are what you have on it for now. I didn't think the coilovers youre using would bottom out so easily, maybe you have them at maximum preload or height adjustment for the spring so its not handling the bumps really well. I looked at the truharts but went with the new Tein Street Advance Z's myself.

I’ve always backed strut bars after that . Car was a EF by the way.
@GainingDespair4 ай бұрын
It really depends on the suspension system, if you have a double wishbone they don't offer much. They are designed to limit body roll by levering the pressure back onto the strut from the opposite direction (same effect as a strut brace). Strut braces where originally designed for MacPherson suspension systems as they put significant load on the strut tower during cornering. Double wishbone came after to combat the design limitations by removing the load from the tower but still you will see strut braces on them as a package item.
