I have already migrate the pv6 to pv7 . But i still have an issue during access the recipe format ( .csv ) files from External SD card . While the Application running , i couldn’t access the External SD card so the .csv files is inacessible. Kindly need your advise

@user-bi3hj8yk8j: I am very confused. What are you trying to do? This video shows you how to update firmware just from a USB stick. Are you trying to do data logging or what are you trying to get with a .CSV format from the SD card inserted to the HMI?

@glenmcbain1954: I think updating/flashing the firmware might wipe out all the mer files in a HMI. It's always a good practice to upload all mer files from the HMI before flashing the firmware. Thank you for your support to my channel.

@eric837: Are you trying to upgrade the firmware? This video is for firmware upgrade on "PERFORMANCE" version HMI. If your HMI is "STANDARD" version, it will NOT accept it. What is your HMI model? Yes the one I am trying to upgrade is performance or 9P as stated by looking at the CAT number in the back.

@@eric837: It appears that the error you got was generated from the Rslogix5000. "RSLogix 5000 Error 1904 failed to register HRESULT -2147024894".

This panel view is brand new. I have yet to connect it to any network or a plc. It is straight out of the box.
