11:26 - 18 years later, the Raptors' superstar would have another chance to bury a Game 7 buzzer-beater to win a semi-final series against the Sixers. To move on to face the Bucks in the ECF, with a superstar dynasty likely waiting in the NBA finals. And while Vince Carter's shot bounced out, Kawhi Leonard's bounced once, twice, three, four, five times then went in. Weird how history works. Fine margins.

I don't follow basketball much, but the older I get and the more I listen to basketball fans talk about the recent past, the more I am coming to appreciate this man's ability to play. I mean, the 76ers are in the NBA Finals and, if memory serves, got all the way to Game 6, despite ALL the injuries and lackluster performances they had. That, in of itself, shows you just how dominant Iverson was. EDIT- I just saw that the 76ers lost in five games, not six. Sorry about that. Still, he's an impressive player.

This channel is the best one I've run across in a long time. I do t even like the NBA and not a huge fan of any sport other than baseball. But all these sbnation vids are gold.

After all the build up to one play, I kinda wish you would show the final play a few more times than just one time. Show it from a few different angles or something. After watching this for 17 minutes just to finally see a quick 2 second clip leaves me disappointed. Give the final play all the props it deserves. Reward your viewers with all the clips possible of the final play from every angle imaginable. However, love the channel and love all the research.

i think horrys game 4 vs the kings in 02 is a better one since it saved a series from ending early rather than going up 3-2 as his shot did in 2005 and no one cares about his spurs days...like 2002 saved a three peat and was so unlikely..2005 was just Rasheed messed up and horry was hot and angry that game...clade tipping to horry makes no sense as kobe and shaq just missed game typing layups lol

I used to be a huge Allen Iverson fan His 00-01 Season and playoffs Was probably the best I ever seem to get that Team to an NBA finals was nothing short of pure magic by Iverson

*That* team? The one with the Defensive Player of the Year, 6th Man of the Year, and Coach of the Year? Yea, what a miracle
@mike152805 жыл бұрын
Yeah without Iversen The only thing that Sixers team would have won is the Draft lottery Mutombo is a above league average player but no real scoring help Aaron McKee is Average at best and was playing good that year but still league average player nevertheless and Larry Brown won the coach of the year thanks to Iversen
