Many AM 2.5 or 3.5 engines have long since had the NVA replaced, often by a good old PAW one, due to that weak aluminium part. A piece of neoprene tube can be slid over the needle body, and then pushed up over the spraybar nut to stop the needle moving and also stop any leaks.
