I’m so sorry!! I’m almost 9 months pregnant and got COVID along with my 2 y/o son and partner about 3.5 weeks ago-the unknown was a bit nerve wracking at the start for sure, but I (we) got through it and despite some lingering congestion I feel sooo much better and my baby is right on target. Hang in there and take it really easy-I’m sending hugs🤗

Maybe it's the mom/grandma in me but you two are adorable even sick. Since ANYONE can be a carrier of Covid & not be any kind of sick at all, the best defense is the vaccinations which I am counting on to get only a mild version if I catch it. Even the mildest case could kill my honey having only 20% lung function. We made it a rule that we will hug our dear ones but no one gets kissed on the lips. Not even my grand kids. We only kiss each other. At least I get to see & hug them now. I had the worst case of Covid 19 when it first came out but was nameless (until 2 weeks later) and it took me a full year to get past the lung issues & fatigue. Anyway, so glad you updated us! take care & know you two are sooooooo cared about & those babies!

We were around each other and sleeping in the same bed those two days and she immediately quarantined in our second bedroom and I cleaned the whole house and I did not get Covid. Hope you recover quickly. I'm currently waiting to test positive. My partner tested positive 3 days ago and I'd spent 4 nights at his house so unlikely to dodge it. Woken up with a sore throat this morning but still negative. I feel the same about having managed to avoid it all this time. Really sucks as I'm a midwife and have been in the hospital and community with covid positive women but have not got it. Have now been off work for 7 weeks with an auto immune response to the covid booster and now looks like I'm going to get it. Crap!

There’s a surge, a new variant. It’s bound to happen that if you haven’t gotten it, eventually, You will. Symptoms can last 2 weeks or longer. My husband was over it in 6-7 days. I felt like poo for a good two weeks. My dad had it back in Oct and he still has issues. Long Covid. His lungs still show inflammation and he has a terrible cough. He’s also diabetic and has non Hodgkins. Hope you all get well soon.

@@pcorf that’s what we think. For whatever reason, none of his drs currently active in his care paid attention to his catscan. Not even the dr that ordered it. Because the results were that of Covid. My mom read it from his patient portal that she has access to. She’s been telling his drs all this time she thinks he had it and should have been tested but he never was. She’s a nurse. Thank God she’s a stickler about cleaning and such. He stayed in the bedroom for weeks because he had a hard time getting out of bed. She’s vaccinated and boostered. She never got it. It’s been a roller coaster with him. He’s better now than he was but his cough is terrible and different things make it worse or it flares up on its own.

Seems to be a trend! We avoided it for 2 years and then my husband and I got it in March at 37 weeks pregnant. (Meaning we had to postpone our baby shower to 39 weeks) It was actually good timing though because apparently you can pass antibodies to baby through the placenta so it was good to get before baby came!
