Nicole is such an intelligent woman. She knew right then and there that Tyra and production was trying to set Nicole up but failed. Unfortunately, next cycle later, Cycle 2, Shandi ended up fallen into the boy trap.

I enjoyed this interview even more than I was expecting to! Nicole seems likable, authentic, and assertive. I also enjoyed the cameo from Cory; they seem like a nice couple. And it’s dope that you’ve been doing these chats for so long and you’re still finding ways to keep them fresh (with the edits, flashbacks, etc.)! Still loving the content, Oliver!

Well from what I read Revlon and Wilhelmina didn't want Adrianne. Wilhelmina wanted Elyse(they kept her busy after cycle 1), and I don't know if this is true, but I read that Revlon liked Robyn's commercial and wanted to use her as a spokesperson.

I remember there was a scene when she was talking to him on the phone and he said something along the lines of that he was feeling insecure that his girlfriend was around hot guys and i never understood that but it makes sense now. I never knew about the basement thing and the weird men, that was so unsafe and weird.

For me, this was one of the best interviews so far. She spilled some tea, provided balanced insight, admitted her (and Corey's) faults, and has taken the good from her experience on ANTM and used it to further her life professionally and personally. I love it! Great job, Oliver! 👏🏽

Yeah it seemed like a ruse to go home and be on the phone! We didn’t know any better with the editing & Nicole didn’t even know at the time! It is truly mind boggling to think she was pregnant during the competition and did not know it! In a way I am thankful she got eliminated when she did so that she was not competing when the miscarriage happened. I mean I am sure that was traumatic enough

I always got the darkest vibes from season 1 when it came to the amount of weird socializing events. And this “basement full of men” totally raised the hairs on my body. I really feel like there was some really weird stuff going on

Oh my word if you got Robbyne I might fall out on the floor While Miss Robbyne didn’t always make the most savory choices, she is one of the most legendary contestants in ANTM. She was present for so many things and in the center of so many things. She gave money to a man to help her with go-sees, she might have invented the names Mister and Miss J, she wore her emotions on her sleeve and taught us about the badonkadonk dance & we heard her sing a Bible hymn to drown out an argument with Ebony. I’d just love for you to get her to walk us through all the moments so we’d know what was going on in her mind. And I’d love to see sis laugh at all her antics because I like to imagine she has a good sense of humor about it all

So I was never a fan of hers until I rewatched it a few years ago and saw the Jessica Kobeissi recaps. I still don't love her but I appreciate her a bit more now considering the crap that Tyra put her through on the programme. She was clever to hire that man to navigate around Paris. I'd actually love to see her being interviewed because that might just change my mind on her

@@selina5598 I go back and forth on Robbyne. In season 1 she was entertaining and charismatic, but also an unfortunate representation of Christianity with her judgmental attitudes. She was very unkind to Adrianne at times. After the show, Shannon and Robbyne lived together in LA. Robbyne was the guardian for two children I think her niece and nephew. She was not a good person to live with and Shannon outlined the ways she made everyone’s life miserable, but she was trying to be there for Robbyne’s niece and she didn’t have enough money to move out yet. So one night Robbyne comes home drunk and kicks her out of the loft giving her only a few hours to leave. It really hurt Shannon and it was clear that was the point at which they fell out of friendship. I’ve seen the incredible Instagram live she did during the pandemic with Adrianne and during that live, it was clear she has not talked to Robbyne since. Shannon said she felt like she saw a different side of Robbyne, so I completely get that. All I know is Robbyne is a very *complex* person. Neither all good or all bad & that would make her a fascinating subject for an interview. Regardless of how the judges said they were concerned about her age, I thought she was pretty and dressed nicely. Btw I love Jess!

Made me see her in a more positive light because Nicole said Robbyne actually wanted good vibes & to get along, Elyse was the one stirring the pot. Given how Elyse was at the interview challenge, I can see that.

“I like to eat pizza and wine late at night” after my own heart! this is my favorite thing. :) omg Nicole from cycle 1!!! so exciting, I thought she was so beautiful and mysterious, because they sent her home so early when I thought she looked like a top model in the Victoria’s Secret dream angels/classic luxury designer and beauty ads type way. there must have been more going on, it felt so weird. It’s great to see her again! she’s still so hot and vibrant

Quiet confidence - I remember that comment & I liked that. It was a very nice and specific way to call her out for something she had going for her & you could see that in her walk. What’s funny is I noticed the different clothes and interpreted it differently at the time: that she had tried to call him over multiple days. Like the editing as if she was being sneaky. But yes watch the clothes because that can really contribute to narrative with these confessionals. Later seasons they seemed to clue into that short of when they’d show a confessional where the girl still have a lot of makeup because they just got back from the photo shoot

i thought she had a huge chance at winning when her season first aired.. knowing all the things of the things now about her experiences , makes everything much clearer as far as the way she was portrayed. Nicole was a whistle blower of sorts and the production team wanted everyone to play along and Nicole was like nope not falling for that.
