Gregg Allman is still in the band Ian. This performance was around the time Gregg had many health complications and he only played 4 or 5 songs had to sit side stage for the rest. This was April 2012. Now Gregg is fully recovered and in full swing with shows. They are on tour right now as a matter of fact!

Derek is amazing. I've seen the Allman Bros four times, three shows were back in the late 70's and one was in 2005 with Derek. There are some good slide players out there and for sure Johnn Winter is one of the greatest, but the baton was passed from Duane to Derek. The icing on the cake is that Derek is Butch Truck's nephew.
