Jungkook has a very wide range and is the best when it comes to the adlibs/harmonies. And he's the most stable on stage, like, he can jump non stop and sing at the same time. He also records guide tracks to their almost every song, so thats why he knows everyone's part, and when any member isn't there, he sings their part. Even rap lines. He also has a perfect pitch, and every artist who worked with him till now, including Charlie Puth, who also has a perfect pitch, said that he's that good. Jin Never Danced or Sang before. They hired a vocal coach, and he told her, "I can't sing!" But vocal coaches have a technique to see if you can sing and your range. When she convinced him, he worked so hard. He became her favorite student per her interviews. Jin would attend dance practice and could NOT pick up the choreography the first time. So he hired a tutor for after practice and trained for many more hours. Being from the musical theatre world, I love Jin's voice the most. He can belt a song . No other BTS guy can do that. Check out "House of Cards". I fell in love with his voice when he soloed 2 word. "No way. NO WAY!" Then check out his vocals in "Truth Untold ". Stunningly Exquisite! Just so you know, Jin is exiting Military Life on June 12th. Many reactors will honor him by having Jin Day or Jin week. You might consider honoring him, too.

I’ve heard of BTS for a long time but every time I pulled them up on Spotify it didn’t hook me for some reason. But last November after seeing Reels and Shorts popping up in Facebook and KZbin, I started nosing around the rabbit hole and then I fell in. I think what drew me in was something not musical, it was all the videos where they were talking Army love. I mean what super popular, super famous musician would get on a live stream immediately after a concert to talk to their fans, thinking of j-hope at Hobipalooza. Or of the last 4 guys doing a live stream right before enlisting. I can’t think of a single entertainer who would do that. But it’s not just the love, it’s also the music. There is so much in their discography that I love.

JK is not only the Main Vocalist because of his voice, its also because of what he adds to the songs that people dont see. He is credited in most of the BTS songs as he adds layers of harmonies and ad libs in the background. He harmonises with the vocal line including himself and also.for the rapline. In earlier days if one of rhe members was missing, he would also sing or rap their part. He sings most of the guides for BTS and the members come to him for advice with their vocals or if they have forgotten their lines. He is well known for his versatile vocal technique and stability whilst dancing. There is so much that goes into his responsibility as the Main Vocalist. I highly reccomend JUNGKOOK the Main Vocalist of BTS upgraded version from IDA S channel. It highlights some of what he does behind the scenes.

I have seen it done occasionally in other examples/ fan channels, so it is possible. In so many, you can't see or make out who is talking and often, there is enough background noise or interrupting that it's difficult to distinguish. In my opinion, although JK might not have the sweetest voice but he's gifted when it comes to music, he knows what it needs in a song to be a song. He did the vocal guide for most of BTS songs. You can hear his voice as ad lib and harmonising in almost every song. He got a very long list of credit in that area. That's why RM said in this video JK has lots of parts. If you see behind the scene, other members often ask his help. Suga was asked not to use JK as vocal guides as it pressured other vocalist (non BTS songs). Charlie Puth said in an interview, there's only 3 people that ever sent him a perfect vocals and one of them is JK. I think that's why he's the main vocalist. As for his physical strength, picture this; he was given the responsibility of lifting Jimin in their debut choreography. He's only 15 at that time and the youngest of the group. Jin once said that their trainer commented that JK can build muscle just by lifting spoons😂.

another good guide to watch is "the most beautiful life goes on 2022 update" by the rice squad. i think, reacting to their full albums (groups and solos) will make you scratch two thirds of their discography and it will be great to have album reactions 😁 also, regarding positions in the group like leader and main vocal, it is actually common in older kpop groups to have an official position (i don't know if it is still relevant to newer groups but it is to older groups before). that's why there is a leader (namjoon), main vocal (jk), main dancer (hobi & jimin), main rapper (namjoon), lead vocal (jimin), lead dancer (jk & tae), lead rapper (yoongi), visual (seokjin & tae), sub-vocal (hobi), sub-rapper (jk), and center (jk).

I think because Jimin, Jin and V’s voices have so much character, truly are amazing, a lot of new reactors don’t quite understand why JK is the main vocal. My son Jamie died in February he just got sick and died, and then my daughter Leah got killed in her boyfriend’s place 6 months later. Listening to Kim Namjoon on the love yourself campaign it’s like he opened my heart again a I started to love myself again now it’s been 5 years since I lost my kids and 3 years with BTS and I am very glad I found BTS they keep me going every day they are my happiness too I am 56 years old and very happy person with my family and BTS🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💞

I found BTS, or rather they found me, in 2017. I had never heard of them, nor heard any of their music. One evening I was missing my parents who both died many years ago (I’m 74 now). Both of them were terrific dancers and they loved to lindy hop, so I was randomly searching for lively dance routines on KZbin and came upon BTS dancing “Save Me”, which led me somehow to “Dope” and I was hooked for good! I’m an American woman married to a Swedish man and we live in Sweden. Just now it is May, 2024 and I heard BTS as background music at a MacDonalds just a few weeks past in mid April. It was the very first time I have heard them in public 😮🫤😂! I am really enjoying your commentaries! 🫶 I purple you 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜.

RM is the leader, will always be the leader of BTS and ARMY. He really is a true leader though he often doesn't think so (watch his UN speech from 2018). The leader in Kpop is an intermediary between the company and the members as well as the 'boss" within the group and is due respect as such. In age Rm is right in between the older members (hyungs) Jin, Suga and Jhope and the younger members (maknaes) Jimin, V and Jugkook. He represents and speaks for the group as a whole. He also is involved in some decisions. If you watch some of the behind the scenes documentaries when they were on tour he is the one to make final decisions about injured or sick members and whether they go on stage or not and he wasn't much past being a kid himself. RM also was the only translator for the group in America when they first started doing late night shows and interviews and concerts. Now it is said that Jhope has become somewhat of a co-leader that helps RM with some of the duties of leader.

One of the (many) best things about BTS is they are family. They love and support each other and big each other up (but also roast each other mercilessly 😂). They have no egos at all and remain incredibly humble and grateful. Their love for their fans is something else.

And this is the reason why BTS is the biggest boy band in the world. Because despite their success, they have remained grounded. They are the most humble and respectful men I have ever seen. And yes, they do have a genuine love for each other, they are like family and their fans can feel that love.

That's right it was a tiny almost bankrupt company but now it's the biggest Kpop Company and just given a new status of being a conglomerate. HBYE is the Conglomerate with many labels within it of which BTS label is original label BigHit and their Boss is the Chairman and they have shares in the company.

It did mean they didn't have to enter the military until their 30th birthday rather by their 28birthday it's referred to as 'The BTS LAW' they never asked for it but the other kpop agencies did and cited BTS as the example. BTS and their company were not consulted or gave permission for their name to be use. However must of the members just ignored it and entered way before they had to so they could all be together again quicker.

To be fair, Namjoon is a democratic leader and he only steps in when absolutely necessary. He also goes to Jin for advice. And Jin is the youngest sibling in his own family and he's very easy going and down to earth. So it works out well. Obviously the leader and the eldest is a dynamic that can clash horribly because of the Korean culture, but Namjoon had more clashes with Yoongi than with Jin (allegedly, objects were being thrown around at some point) 😂

Run BTS is super fun. The early ones are a little awkward mostly because big hit had no $$, they even almost went bankrupt. BTS and 1 soloist were the only artists big hit had at the time! BTS singlehandedly built that company up to where they are today. As for order, while it's fine to skip around & watch the later ones where they had more $, they often reference earlier episodes. If you don't mind that, skip around, but regardless of order, be sure to watch at least some earlier ones, they're all really fun . Watching in order also has the benefit of being able to watch them grow into who they are now. They were so young in the beginning, shy, even goofier if you can believe that lol. It's fun! Ty for watching this 💜 Eta also, you should watch the rise of bangtan episodes. It's a fan made docuseries that's very well made & amazing. From pre-debut onward. You'll learn not just about them but also the kpop industry in general. There's a ton of videos by boracity magazine about them, the music industry etc that are informative and well done. Also BTS hardships updated by xCeleste too. But BTS have tons of behind the scenes shows, bon voyage, in the soop, rookie king, American Hustle Life lol. You'll never run out of content. BTS paved the way, and lots of groups followed their path. It's the best underdog story I've ever heard! Eta: 26:36 age and respect are rly important out there. If an older member told you to something, it's disrespectful if they don't (not jin or any BTS members, they're not strict) but technically if your friend was a year older than you, they could give you all the worst tasks or jobs and you kinda have to do it. You'll hear a lot about bullying over there because some kids take it too far with the respect thing. When people in the west tell a 20 year old to respect their elders, you may imagine 40+ year old. In Korea if a 20 year old is told that, they mean *everyone* older, be it a year or 40. Jimin & Tae (V) were born in the same year just a couple months apart, so they would be the most equal in terms of hierarchy, if BTS insisted on being sticklers. 28:53 there are multiple mains in kpop. 29:46 JK is the youngest 42:40 ish jimin trained for 6 months. The others joined and trained over a 2 year period. This video showed in the order they joined. So members trained from 6 months to 2 years depending on when they joined. 44:42 height RM 6' Jin 5'10 Suga 5'9 Hobi 5'10 Jimin 5'7 V 5'10 Jk 5'10 💜💜💜 51:27 last one lol. The coolest thing about Wembley is a sold out stadium full of non Korean fans who mostly only spoke English sang BTS' Korean lyrics to them. They were shocked and honored
@fay-mSOPEfan626 ай бұрын
Good info here, but on height you're doing Jimin down & also slightly incorrect on Suga - in 2019 Jimin tweeted that he'd grown by 0.4cm to 174cm, which was the same height as Suga (he made a big thing of it lol, cos it meant he wasn't the shortest any more 😁) So he's not 5'7 & Suga's not 5'9...they're both nearer 5'8, tho as Jimin has good dancer's posture & stands straight & Suga tends to slouch a bit ,or stand with one leg bent, Jimin often looks a bit taller now 😄

So basically my Spotify played fake love by BTS and then it just started with that. Then I got to watch Blood Sweat & Tears the MV and I was dead at that point. Also hooked and then I got to learn their names by MV lyrics. After listening and watching their songs I got to watch this guide when it came out I was like a BTS guide come on then. This guide doesn't change how much I love them now it grew my love for them and apparently it gave me a bias now which is OT7 because each member reminded me a little bit. So that's my rabbit hole of BTS and then it went to listening to Kpop

BTS was not a part of the top 3 KPop groups. In fact, they were at the very bottom. They were near bankruptcy. To learn that full story it's in their latest book, "Beyond the Stage". I purchased an audio book. Cheapest way to get it. The author dug deep and provided all of Army even the oldest ones with new specific information. Secrets in fact. I highly recommend it.

Yes! Excellent book. If you want a book about BTS, this is the one. Don't bother with other randomly authored "biographies" of BTS you find online. (Ask me how I know! 😂🙄😬)

Beyond the stage has a lot of fiction in it. Old Army, who have been with BTS ftom the beginning have called out the book as a lot of what they have written is not correct, from what we observed. Old Army do NOT recommend the book at all, it is not factual. The writer is also a known Jimin fan, and old Army who critiqued the book said that is obvious in the writing.

@@pamelakrause9311 Wow! Thanks for letting me know. That's really a shame. I guess for those of us who were not there from the beginning, it will be difficult to know the truth in the details of any book. I suppose we have to rely on their own words from their own speaking.

The Rise of Bangtan is a 21-episode fanmade series wich follows the members pre-debut till a couple of years later. It will show their start and how hard they worked to get this big. You can get to know their personalities better and it also gives some background information about the K-pop Industry. It's really well made and very addictive!

BTS taught me about skinship, and it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Skinship is a tradition in asian countries where people bond through physical touch. It explains why they're so affectionate with each other. I find it so lovely, and i wish it were popular in western culture. So much toxic masculinity here, and it seems that BTS has none of that. They continuously make me so proud. I'm so glad you watched this, and caused me to watch it again. They have been through so much and struggled so much, but they've come out of it amazingly kind, humble, and gracious. They're so beautiful inside and out.

I've seen this guide so many times and it never gets old! Thank you for taking the time to get to know our boys. And yes, bias just means your favorite, but with BTS it usually goes deeper than just your favorite singer or the one you think looks the best. For me, Jimin is my bias, yes because he has the voice and looks of a freaking angel, but also because I relate to him a lot. We have very similar personalties in that we're both caring and sensitive, and are always there for others.

2 days old but RUN BTS is FANTASTIC. It's hilarious and does let you get to know the members more. I love it. My dad who is an old war vet loves the show too. There's not much he'll watch but he loves how funny and wholesome/innocent it all is because of his experiences in war, things like that really help calm him down. Im grateful they kept it going. Bon Voyage and In the Soop are fantastic too. I'd love yoongi as an actor but also I feel he's really good in those MVs because he's passionate about his music and the story he'd telling. No matter what route yoongi took it would have ended up in music, that was too ingrained in him at an early age. Amygdala brought me to tears and I WISH there was more videos of yoongi playing the piano, it's BEAUTIFUL. Honestly the MAIN reason BTS as a group has succeeded is the lack of ego and the humility they have. BTS sees each other as brothers, not competition. Even in their solo works the members support each other. And beyond that, BTS are always students. They are always willing and trying to learn, so in comparison to people who reach a certain level and get lazy, BTS are always willing to learn more and go higher. I love that all the members have unique vocals that add to a song and that because of their range of vocals they CAN do so many different styles of music where each member shines. I think the main reason JK was the main vocalist is his incredibly stable voice. Like don't get me wrong JK has a BEAUTIFUL voice but it's also so incredibly stable, especially live that he's a great foundation to build off of with the other vocalists. Yeah, Jk kinda took all the talent, didn't he? Man can do just about anything. Honestly, I could say so much about each of the members but it would end up being so long. They are just incredibly hard working people and I love them as people and artists so much. Just the utmost respect for all 7. Bias is kinda like your favorite, yeah. You still love all 7 but there might be 1 or 2 or 3 you connect with a bit more on personality or music. I'm OT7, there's something with all of them that I connect with but others have a couple members they connect with a bit more. My mom loves all 7 but is more yoongi biased, his raw emotional way of making music connects with her more but she does still love and respect all the members as people and artists. My dad's kinda the same but he biases Jimin and RM more. Last Edit; As for hating them. Some people hate just to hate. And some people hate because they are 'popular' and 'mainstream'. So honestly it doesn't matter if they watched this. Some people just hate because realistically there is no reason to hate them. You can be like "this isn't exactly for me" but there's no reason to hate, they are good people making fantastic music.

I started following BTS and without hesitation I found myself down the rabbit hole. I've never looked back.
