My first experience with Blackpink music was How You Like That. It popped up in my recommendations at a time I needed it most. I lost my dad 2 years before that and was in a dark place. I can never thank them enough for helping me feel much better. I went down the rabbit hole and will never look back. I love these four women forever.

As a metalhead, i do really like blackpink, dream catcher, and gidle. They have a lot of good beats and concepts. I particularly like blackpink live. They use a live band, and it just really elevates them. Cool to see how the studio music is interpreted by real instruments.

"How you like that" is the first song I heard from Blackpink, till now its my favorite song; I saw a video on Facebook that one of my friend's daughter was doing dance on that song, immediately loved that song. One crazy thing about this song is that the Dance Performance video has more view than the original Music Video, its more than 1.6 Billion views. Explanation video of this song will blow your mind, how much effort they put on and every sets represents the lyrics and how they incorporated the story from Greek Mythology with lyrics and sets.

shame on me for assuming kpop is just pop music in korean. i think a lot of people assume that too. blackpink was actually my 1st kpop experience. i started to work from home and wanted to try new music. their video Kill This Love came up, cant remember why. the views impressed me so i watched it. i was shocked.....the rapping, the flow between korean and english, the music videos looked so expensive and i was binge watching their videos for the rest of the day. the way the black side represents the boss/swag and the pink side represents the sweet/vulnerable side. i saw them in concert in 2022, had the best time.

"I just love how individualy unique their voices are" yes!! that's exactly how I got into them and later kpop. While I liked some songs, I was overwhelmed by the number of members some groups have and I had difficulties separating them looks and voices. In blackpink, each of them have such a distinct look , style and voice that I was mesmerized equally by all of them for different reasons. I found a video compilation of songs that were released during summer, and AIIYL was part of that compilation. I looked it up and noticed that it was Kpop, and I hated Kpop, but I eventually became addicted to the song, and realized that I needed more Blackpink. 😊

yeah all members of Blackpink have many solos Lisa has 3 solos (Money , Rockstar and Lalisa ) Jennie too ( Solo , You and me , spot ft Zico ) Rosé has officially 2 solos ( On the Ground and Gonz but in fact she has 3 solos cause she has a solo in Born pink , the last Blackpink album call Hard to love ; for the anecdote , at the beginning they should did together but the song was write by Rosé and that was too difficult for the other members to do it like the vocals are so difficult so she did it alone ) and Jisoo has 2 solos ( Flower and All eyes on me ) so you can check out this , i think you'll like a big part of them , all these solos have their own 'vibes' so i think it could interested you ( sorry for mistakes )

Oh dear. You have no idea of the hours you can lose in the blackpink rabbit hole. Once you get into the live concerts ( and I see there’s a recommendation below for DDU live at the Tokyo dome) you’ll find these splendid MVs are all rather tame. The songs, the arrangements the band (The Band 6 simply brilliant) the stage production the dancers and the performances. I haven’t seen 4 wonderful personalities blend into something so powerful since The Beatles. Grab a fancam from the VIP section front row turn up the headphones to concert level and I’ll be surprised if you can turn it off before As If It’s Your Last. Paris 22 and Vegas 23 are recommended.
