72 year old BTS Army here. The Ukranian MV director for "Standing Next to You" said she was inspired by Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo and Juliet". That is why JK is wearing dark wings. Her family perceives him as a fallen angel I believe. It was filmed in Budapest Hungary at an abandoned power plant. "Seven" is indeed UK Garage style. It was the fastest song in Spotify history to achieve 1 billion streams. (BTS was recently named as the "Most Streamed Group of All Time".) His label announced "Standing Next to You" as a subtle homage to MJ. It was his third Official solo release leading up to "Golden", his record setting album that currently has 3.4 billion streams. Jk is known for his rare perfect pitch. He did a big feature song with Charlie Puth called "Left and Right" a couple of years ago. Charlie is known for his perfect pitch and commented on JK having it as well. None of Jung Kook's solo releases are Kpop. They are all English and all American productions and should not be considered Kpop for that reason. JK and Pdogg are the only Koreans involved with his solo releases. Pdogg was vocal director for some songs. Even JK's dancers are famous American dancer/choreographers. "Seven" was written and produced by Grammy Award winning Producer of the Year Andrew Watt and a team of notable American/Canadian songwriters Jon Bellion and Ali Tamposi. It was co-written and produced by the Canadian producer/songwriter known as Cirkut. It was recorded at Watt's L.A. Studio and this video was filmed in L.A. Jung kook is really (like the other members) as good Live as recorded, from my opinion even better, so rare nowadays! And his ability to dance and sing absolutely stable, so amazing. He was after Post Malone just the second artist performing on the TSX Stage!! If you want some recommendations : Begin ( his mature voice and the dance!), Euphoria (singing and flying) , Stay alive prod. by Suga (incredible voice) , Falling (Cover from Harry Styles Song), but one has to be said, his Album Golden is an absolutely masterpiece, even over one year later I am not getting bored by every song and every song is a banger itself! And yes, he can rap, he is the only one of the vocal line who can do it! On top he is a perfectionalist, he worked very hard on the right pronouncation. My absolute favourite song is SNTY, but I love all! And btw I fell in love with his voice before I was able to see which person was singing…Thanks for your reaction 💜

Please DO react to the full album. It broke many records and he has gotten a lot of awards. My favorite song is “SNTY”. My other fave are “Somebody”, “Hate You”, and “Yes or No”. It is a no skip album. I am not a fan of either feature, but otherwise Ilove them. Thankfully he gave us an alternative version of “3D”, so that’s the one I put n my playlist along with the remix with Justin Timberlake. “Seven” replace Miley Cyrus’s song “Flowers” to become the fastest song in history to get 1 Billion streams. That record stood for almost a year and it took two mega stars, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars”, collaborating to beat it. No one can take it away from him that he held that record. LAST NOTE Diana Ross listed “SNTY” on her website under “My Favorites”. She said that she loved his videos and that Michael was coming through. (Parphrased).

If you have time you should check out the documentary of the making of the Golden album. He said that he wanted to see what his voice could do and that's why he chose the songs that he did. JK also had JT and Usher remixes of some of the songs. Yes or No is my FAVE on the album. The version of 3d without the feature is a million times better.

Armys was told that Jungkook had a surprise, and Army saw the backupdancer(the are all famous choregraphers) and the was cleaning the stage. So many Armys showed up

Jungkook has this relaxed/cool charisma that is really very attractive. Often compared to big Western artists who also have this effortlessly cool vibe about them. I think if JK focused on his solo career, he could get very far(not that he hasn't already broken many records and put himself out there as a solo artist), but even further if he had more time as a solo artist. It has been a lot of fun as his fan to see how far he has gotten, but I am still excited to see him back with BTS in 2025. I doubt he will completely stop his solo work. Either way, I look forward to what more he can bring to this world with his vocals and stage charisma.

Hi, the wings in black swan were swan’s wings, the wings in this one is angelic , protector,..this song was given to him, BTS did not write this. He heard this, fell in love with it at the time finishing 7. I cannot hear this song enough. Each time is like the first time. This song is a year old and still going strong. SNTY my favorite but the entire solo album is fire.

Solo show - yes, watch Live at TSX Times Square in New York. It was a surprise short concert (5 songs) and he packed Times Square. It's great. My fav of those 3 is Standing Next to You. Jung Kook could have done the rapping himself and, in fact, he often performs Latto's part when he performs Live (or part of it anyway). Also suggest Hate You visualizer video. It's another song off his GOLDEN album from Nov 2023 which is entirely in English. Two other great live performance were iHeart Radio (Live Band, no backup dancers), and Audacy Live. He did a showcase concert in Seoul, Korea as well, but he's in the military now until June 2025. You might also want to react to a video by Ida S "Jung Kook as the Main Vocalist of BTS". Since the age of 15 when BTS made their debut, he's been the group's Main Vocalist and her video explains more what that means. In KPop, there are ranks Main = highest, Lead = next highest. JK is Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Sub-Rapper (meaning he does rap sometimes and used to fill in for other rappers). A few solo songs while the group was actively performing: Euphoria (find the Live one where he is in pink); or My Time; or Begin (live one that has the full footage of his dancing - it's crazy!!). He's also done some beautiful covers, such as Falling (original Harry Styles) which can be found on BANGTAN TV channel. There is no music video just lyrics and his beautiful voice.

Jks Whole album Golden is in English and is Top Tier!!! Check out JKs live performance on the TSX stage in NYC! He gave a 30-minute heads up to his location prior to his performance for free to a packed crowd!!!! Epic! Also,Seven has an explicit dance video,Standing Next to You has a dance video remix featuring Usher and and also Justin Timberlake did a remix for 3D with him! He had a bunch of other live performances, but couldn't tour as it was too close to when he left for the military. He definitely is considered the 🤴 of Kpop not just by ARMY, but also by music industry critics!

Absolutely do the full album review! He displays so many styles within Golden. When you have seen a full BTS concert, you won’t want a solo concert. They are electrifying on stage together. However, JHope headlined a mind blowing Lollapalooza stage in Chicago before enlisting. And Suga/Agust D did a 28-concert tour on his own, but that was only possible because he has written so much material over the years. Rm did a low-key Concert in an indie venue in Seoul, because that was his dream. JK did a half-hour show in NY Time Square unannounced, and crowds still showed up! They are all stars with huge individual personalities.

Agree re JH feature. There is a version without. YES react to album, but always better to see JK moving, be it official mvs or the INCREDIBLE live performances. He sings a note in Hate You in his I Heart Radio performance that gives me chills. It’s not on the recorded version. The darn documentary and this album changed my bias lol. I’m obsessed. I love that he had top choreographers performing these with him in the Standing Next to You mv and the stage performances. JK was so pleased that Brian Puspos was one of them. He'd worked with BTS before and is obviously a favourite of theirs. Latto is OK except for the outfit, LOL. I love the words, 'You wrao around me and you give me life'. I really didn't feel that Jack Harlow was a good choice. His words make me uncomfortable as a woman. He's got an inflated view of his sexual capabilities. Maybe it was supposed to be funny. In fact the whole song is close to the edge of acceptability when you think of young girls who are inveigled into sending sex videos. There were complaints about Jack using the term, AVGs (Asian Valley Girls). It's a shame because I love the music but not the words. You need to watch Jungkook's mv of Standing Next to You with Usher. Two legends together. There are some very touching songs on Golden too such as 'Hate You'. Get out the tissues for that one.
