When I first started on my journey into the Church from Protestantism in Feb 2020, My wife and I began praying the Rosary every night. The first time I prayed it I can't explain it but it just felt natural. I think Our Lady played a big part in bringing me into the Faith and for my Wife's reversion.

What a powerful homily on the rosary! I carry a rosary in my pocket everyday. I saw both of my grandmothers and mother-in-law do this! I also say the rosary while taking my daily walk, I say the rosary while driving, and like you, I fall asleep before I’m done. My mother-in-law told me once that the angles will finish the rosary for you. Thank you ever so much for all of your words of wisdom! God Bless you Fr. Meyer!

The sweetest thing you can see on earth is a group of middle school kids praying the Rosary. If they're meditating, they look like angels. How blessed I am to have taught this to them. Not me, but God. He just graced me the opportunity. St. Louis De Montfort, pray for us 🙏

Thank you for this wonderful homily, Father Meyer! About 2.5 years ago I start praying the rosary daily. I am now graced what the wonderful sense of Jesus' presence immediately after receiving the Holy Eucharist. I get goosebumps and my breathing is very deep and slow, almost like a trance. It is incredible!

Although I say the rosary everyday, I have done a search on KZbin for the rosary and the day of the week. There are some very good teaching videos about the rosary and how to say it. As an older person it keeps me on track and is a blessing to talk to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. I have also shown my grandchildren how to say the rosary. I showed them how to find these videos for when I cannot be with them and to help them learn the prayers. I look forward to my daily time with the rosary. God bless you Father Meyer.

Pray when you go to sleep Pray while doing dishes. Pray while showering Pray as you do laundry. Pray while taking out the trash. Pray while mowing the lawn. Pray while getting dressed. Pray while driving. Pray while stopped @ RR crossings. Pray while washing your car. Give up 15-30 min of TV time. Pray while vacuuming. Pray while waiting to pu your children from school. Pray while waiting for appts. Pray while standing in the line at the grocery store. Just pray...! THERE IS SO MUCH TIME IN OUR DAY WHEN WE CAN PRAY!

👍 Great Homily!!!! I grew up Catholic & went to Catholic schools. No emphasis was ever put on the rosary, not in my home & not in my schools. Looking back on that, it really ticks me off. Our 4 children are now grown with their own families and only one household prays the rosary. I guess that I didn’t lead by example. For this I am truly sorry. 🙏🏻

Gospel of John, he who was given Mary as mother, as well as all children of God, wrote in his gospel the catching of 153 fish by Peter. There has been much speculation over the meaning of the 153. There are 153 Hail Marys in the original full 15 decade rosary

Sorry father with all respect I don’t agree with you because our heavenly mother in Fatima told the little Shepard’s for people to pray the rosary but to say it slowly with a melody in their ❤️ and to focus in every our father and Hail Mary and in every mystery this is why a lot of prayers doesnt make it up to heaven because of people praying fast and saying only with words and not with their ❤️ may god bless you 🙏
