As a reminder, I have censored names from the drama video because I don't think it does any good, and the last thing I want is players getting negativity sent their way when this is just meant to be my recap/response to the season. So please keep specific names out of the comments unless you are talking about yourself, thank you :)

@@JD-xj6yq sorry you feel that way. As I’ve stated many times I’m sharing my experiences from the season and didn’t show anyone’s name. I have no idea why so many people have an issue with people being held accountable for how they act.

From being in leadership a lot over the seasons and playing many many hours. This game consumes a lot of its players lives. You wake up middle of the night defending something or setting troops, taking tiles etc etc. for 55 days many of the players live the game. Tensions will get high, people say things they don’t actually mean or dream of saying in real life because of the strain people put on themselves while all the while having their own sense of what is 'fair' for their teams. It’s not an excuse but it paints a picture of the reality. The same goes for leaders who also spend hours talking like actual politicians. Sadly a lot of the team members don’t know what goes on with diplo exactly. They don’t see the toxicity or the good from their leaders when talking to other faction leaders. They only see what comes back to fellowship or discord. This video shows some of the worst of what comes out in game but it’s not always this way either. Every team has members who are a little close to the knuckle or troll and they try to keep them in check a little but also anything can be painted in whatever way we wish it to be. This is an interesting insight, but for me I don’t really feel it’s a necessary video. Just feels like something to prove a point or because you can to a wider audience. But not to say that’s how it actually was intended from you either.

Yeah it's tough, but overall it was a great season! I tried to stress it a few times, but this was definitely my view on leadership, not the server as a whole or 99% of the players.

This season was crazy and fun and exhausting. BANK Diplomacy did great. The only thing i remember differently is that we fortified the Critical Crossing at Entwash before Gondor re-entered the fight. It was epic how many times we fought over Argonath with Rhûn and we finally got Undeeps by going through Emyn Muil. All in all it was a great season, I predicted we'd be able to beat Rhûn, they were fun to fight. And their ally, Variags was annoyingly effective sometimes lol

Hey ATME. I was a member of Rhun during this season (not in leadership) and I thought you guys were great opponents. Nothing but respectful battles. My guess is a leader thought we were going to win and got butthurt when we didn’t. See you guys on battlefield next season

It was a great season, and 99% of our interactions were great. Just some of the leadership stuff I highlighted was tough. Also as I’ve said, I’m sure it’s different from their side, that’s how these things work. Not saying I’m 100% right about every or them, probably some combination of both. Anyways, cheers and thanks for a good season!

Being really close to the otherside of the conversation, this is not the whole story. I get the truth is somewhere in the middle. The fact that an hour long "drama" video had to be made about it says enough for me.

I guess I don't know what you mean lol I stated multiple times that this is my side of the story, and provide screenshot proof to back up a lot of what I was saying. Also a drama video didn't "have" to be made, but this is what I do for a living and I am not sure what people don't get about that.

Our experience with diplomacy is to not have to many in the channel. And specially not players ho gett triggered. When you start insults you are done. And should step away. Also to using gifs at in diplo channels are a big NO. But form what i saw, it happens with so many teams if they start to lose 1 of 10 keeps they complain and talk "un fair" A team playes for fun and some times you lose a keep and other times you gain a keep. Cant expect to win every fight.

From Lindon perspective clears a lot up. Though in truth it wasn't you guys we had a problem with at all. And other than 1 or 2 of DANT that came to defend some of Arnor land we didn't fight you guys. When we were fighting Rhun and Variags in Tuar and Arnor went to attack erebor rather than help us as agreed. For context this was around when Gondor and Rhun allied and we agreed to come over and help I'm still unsure how much of that was from talks with DANT rather than yourselves as I just did what I was told. But we basically said to each other if angmar loses their cap arnor is losing their cap. There was more but that was the gist of it out west.

I think you take things a bit too seriously. It's good to relax and enjoy it. Ya win some ya lose some. Wine took on a whole server solo last season from the jump in 1.0 and won the ring. I was in claw and they were a force but respectful. I heard alot retired with 2.0 causebthey were f2p and alot of them utilized dwalin. Theres soreness in every faction and portraying a whole group with the assumption those types of players arent on your team is disingenuous i think. Trying to 'sort out' or recap a season is good content but should come with a caveat that its your pov, and theres hundreds of other pov's, some of which may put you or your team in a harsher light. Also, betrayals make the game exciting. Easy wins are never welcome
@allthingsmiddleearth
@allthingsmiddleearth 7 ай бұрын
I don't disagree, but all I was doing was sharing a recap from my leadership experience and highlighting a few leaders that we have conflict with. I even said said several times that this wasn't about the team as a whole. So not sure if you watched the whole thing, but most of what you're saying should have been included was I think.

Anyone saying that this stuff shouldn't be shared, it's private diplomacy.. nope sorry you're just wrong. First of all this is a dude who streams probably as his job and streams this game in particular. I believe that whatever you say you shouldn't be ashamed to say ... or do on front of the world. If there's something you're not proud of, don't do it, don't act that way. Accountability is amazing. I honestly wish more groups were called out like this. It'd make the game easier to navigate!

Do you also hold people accountable for making things up about other factions? Where does the line go? It is very easy to say that you should be held accountable, but a lot of people do not care, and continue doing whatever they want, and say whatever they want.
@AtlasWolfe
@AtlasWolfe 7 ай бұрын
@MrHailstorm absolutely Marksaa. Map dynamics and politics come down to the actions held by leaders and not just their words. Your team may not have signed an alliance agreement and I did apologize got being wrong on some of those things but I would still be happy for anyone to see what I said as anyone in my shoes would think the same. There's multiple teams that came onto the server that were friends before. We assumed they were allied. They may not have discussed an alliance but we were right about the main point. They all still haven't fought eachother and they all have fought us.
@AtlasWolfe

But I would disagree with your statement that the bad experience of previous seasons you had were their doing. I was in two of those previous seasons you mentioned, I’d say there are others might be in the same seasons could have contributed to our unpleasant experience than the individual mentioned in the video, especially diplo aspect.
