I am excited for the new tile merging and blocking mechanics. I don't understand them fully yet, but I can imagine more strategy about holding tiles.

That bit you were unsure of (8:35) just means that if you pass between two enemies in different fellowships diagonally taking those 2 tiles you get the diagonal link. If the 2 enemies then decide to be in the same fellowship after you have that link, their 2 tiles can’t link across your already made link.

Thanos needs to come in and 🫰 half of those animal animations out of existence, too clunky. Tile merging doesn't make complete sense. If you attack the tile blob do you attack the single tile or the entirety of the blob with all the commanders on it? Strategy map I can get on board with, seems legit.

The red markers are armies. I think they just mean the style of the occupied tiles. Just a visual update.
