26 Civs on a HUGE EUROPE map (Civilization 6)

In today's Civilization 6 (Civ6) video we will be placing 26 civs in their true start locations on a Huge Europe map and seeing what happens when the AI is left to their own devices. Just a few of the civs are England, France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Byzantium, Spain, Russia, and Greece, with plenty more!

I would recommend using the "Barbarian Clans" optional game rules for the next video. That way, instead of having barbarian camps that just spiral out of control, they turn into city states and stop spawning hostile units.

Definitely a good idea as some civs rely on city states for their major strategy (in this game there were Pericles and Mathias, for example).

Ah yes, AI Eleanor leaning heavily into peaceful domination. So her main ability is that Great Works (Writing, Art, Music, Relics) exert loyalty pressure and cause cities to flip. On top of that if Eleanor is the civ exerting the most pressure a city flips straight to her rather than go through "Free City" status. She can win domination without ever declaring war.

Civ AI games are fun to watch. Really love the Civ Battle Royale series, where 60+ Civs fight to the death on a massive world map. Just had the first use of nukes in the current season with Arapaho obliterating the Cree frontlines.

I believe the reason Wilhelmina didn't spawn in is because YnAMP (which I think is what you used for the Europe map) will never spawn in the civ in the last civ "slot". I dunno why it happens, nor do I know of any fix for it, but you might want to pick a "dummy" civ in the last place so that the last civ spawns in :)

BBG and BBS balancing mods for multiplayer have a slider for barb agression, well one of them at least can't remember which, plus games are more fair as some civ are too OP and even IA can show how OP they are while being braindead. Edit: would lover that you add some view with yields on!

My main suggestion is simply try out Civilisation 5 instead, the Ai is far more dynamic leading to much more action over just as many turns and the modding community while slowed down is still very passionate and active.

Maaaan, in Civ 7 I just want a fuck ton of civs. It would be so easy to imagine for baseline civs with more divergent leaders. For example: Italy is abase Civ and you can have Roman Emperors, The Ostrogoths???, Venice, Milan, Sicily, Genoa, and etc. England and China are the perfect examples in Civ 6 where we have 6 variant leaders for both of them?
