Not fair to call it "disrespectful to Klopp" to say Slot might get more out of Nunez. The benefits of a new coach is different methods, experience and approach. Some players in the squad might find Slot's methods more effective for them, others might not. Nunez still isn't as calm as he needs to be in front of goal so whatever he was being told hasn't resolved his issues yet, if they can be resolved at all. Hopefully Arne can get through to him because there's a really great striker in there somewhere if he can find it.

Unless he learns English PDQ, Nunez (and Diaz) will be out the door. Slot INSISTED that the squad and coaches speak English at Feyenoord. Stands to reason he'll demand the same at Liverpool. The non-English speakers SHOULD be worried.

If you want to improve a player especially a CF or goals scorer, the worst things to do is what Klopp was doing. The guy did not had a single fixed position and has not played around the same players ever . I CF, striker, goal scorer roles is not to be tracking backing, running around and doing defensive duties. It's already hard a challenging for strikers to even score 1,2 goals when they are on the pitch the entire game , sitting in the same position , now moving around like a mad dog makes it even worst and impossible..

I think he needs to work with all the attack, excluding jota as he's the ONLY natural finisher at the club. As great as Salah has been, he's been garbage since returning from AFCON. Nunez causes all sorts of problems but is an appalling finisher. Diaz is a brilliant player but doesn't score the goals to go with his all round play. And Gakpo could be very good. We've glimpses of his finishing ability but he needs to be far more consistent... There's a few talented kids who can come in so we'll see

22/23: 15 goals, 4 assists 23/24: 18 goals, 13 assists The crazy thing about Nunez is he has 33 goals and 17 assists (50 G/A) in two seasons while being very wasteful. Both Drogba and Suarez didn’t take off until their 3rd season in England and some players need several years to adjust. What’s wild about Nunez is he has already actually set a high bar for himself. Particularly with 31 G/A this past season. Slot’s staff need to spend every training session with him in preseason doing bent runs over and over again. Because Nunez has more pace than virtually every CB he goes up against and doesn’t need to “cheat” on his runs. If he learns to bend his runs better and actually place the ball instead of going for power, he can actually really take off and is still only 24.

A high bar? You mean with the number of shots he misses? It will certainly be difficult to repeat or get close to the number of shots he had this season. And whether or not he can get a higher proportion of his shots on target is another issue. Then there's putting it "where the goalkeeper is not". Nuñez is an awful striker. He'll never score 20 in a premier league season.

Come on. He cannot finish. I'm a Sunday league player and I've never seen a player who is as rash and wasteful as him. I am also a season ticket holder at anfield and he doesn't have the calmness it takes to be a striker. He lashes and makes poor decisions when in on goal and thinks he has to hit it as hard as he can and thinks because he hits it hard it will go in. Bring back Sean Dundee! 🤔😜🤣

How many goals has Salah scored since January? Salah has been AWFUL this year, not tally blaming Salah but perhaps if he would of scored half of those he threw away we would of comfortably won the league. Klopps lack of defensive organisation undermines the whole effort. Diaz improved but looks for contact too much and holds onto the ball way too long. Salah was awful last season. We don’t cross the ball for Nunez or play him in early very often. Trent needs to go back out wide on the touch line to cross for Nunez. Old school and effective, not the inverted right back where he loses the ball constantly and provides no crosses

Manager's like their own midfielders and strikers. Arne said he can't wait to work with Nunez, I think he does it for a season and then starts bringing in his players by next summer.

No one can actually say what will happen to Liverpool next season but to follow managers who become engrained in a club and City like the Klopps; Fergies; Pep etc have done it will naturally be very tough. New coach will want his stamp on the side and thats the challenge. Everyone from the chef to Salah are engrained in the Klopp way so alot of mindsets have to change. Then factor in Dutch coaches just never come to grips to the PL. Good luck Slot

It's style of play which will improve Darwin. That's the point. Klopp play full throttle 100 mph. More chances than any other team. Quickest transitions. Slot plays 4231. Attack mid at times. More width than Kloop. That's why Nunez could change. It's not who can improve him. Btw Darwin is fully capable of improving himself like many players do

It's not just klopp leaving, it's all the coach staff all so. This new coach hasn't coach in a top League. Like English, Spanish,German, Italian,french, or even porguese league.
