Allying the Grox while being the nicest possible pacifist empire feels like a "keep your enemies closer" scenario but I prefer to think they genuinely like you because of how dedicated you are to being their antithesis :p

The epic showing up twice on tribal stage reminded me of this older wr speedrun you did on Hard difficulty; an epic attacked the first village, which didn't let you perform to them as they were busy fighting and let the three other tribes raid your village at the same time as you couldnt gift them before they raided. You pushed thru thankfully but that was so scary when I first watched it!

How does the war with everyone thing work? Does it apply to civiliziaisonos you haven't met yet?

Once you meet another empire for the first time they will get the -200 allied with the grox penalty. But if you remove the grox alliance and meet someone else for the first time, they won't have the penalty.
