One thing I did like about Charlie, is while she did want the tree, she kept trying to find another one out of respect to the family and not steam rolling for the tree like in many other lifetime/hallmark romance movies.

Ahhh... Wendy Crewson. A mainstay of Canadian lesbian film making since 'Better than Chocolate'. While not always in five star productions, Wendy always delivers and is enough of a drawcard to make me want to see any sapphic film wherein she is cast.

I know Enrico Colantoni from Person of Interest first and foremost, Veronica Mars, and Just Shoot Me! with David Spade back in the days (yes, I'm OOOOLD). I didn't know he was in Carmilla, too!! The guy's got range. Glad to see so many Canadians in this. Probably filmed near Vancouver or something. 😆

She might be bisexual in real life, and bangs are often a way for us bi's to signal and express ourselves. But if she's playing a lesbian on this movie then I guess we can comment on her hair.. lol. It does hurt to hear that about a bi hairstyle though 😦
