Awesome trip thanks for sharing, did the sail from Brisbane to Bali 10 weeks, actually was a year ago this week I started it best trip of my life to this point, was on a slow 450 Lagoon not that speedster you're on lol.

Great adventure! meeting with other sailors and enjoy singing with the locals. The waterfall is huge, and it feels like the water is quite cold, especially with the wind blowing.

It was! We thought we would take a swim but it seemed more inviting just to admire the view 🙈 After seeing Iguazu you would expect that no waterfall is worthwhile seeing but luckily that’s not true at all

Being part of a rally means that there is a time schedule and that choices have been made. We have quite a lot of room to make our choices within the general route but still. Compared to other rallies like the Oyster and the World Arc there’s already way more time available in our 3 year circumnavigation.

Yes we felt really welcome everywhere we came. You do feel a difference though going east to west as the effect slowly wears off the more touristic the area gets

Wow, dont you go through Java sea? If you go through indian ocean, you will pass high sea...

High sea is a relative thing but we are timing our crossing from Cocos to Rodrigues so we should have waves below 4 meters. As the forecasts do get more accurate and we plan for 8 to 9 days for the crossing this should be ok. We are aware though that the direction of the swell and wind are different compared to our Atlantic and Pacific crossings
