After speeding across the Indian Ocean we enjoy a week on the authentic and cosy island of Rodrigues. From there it's just a short 350 miles crossing to Mauritius

Another excellent video, you do make it look so easy, but I know from experience, it’s not. Loved the video, looking forward to the next one👍⛵️😊❤️

With the current tools, Starlink and crossing times it is not rocket science as long as you don’t push it too much

Wow, amazed by the size of Port Luis, didn't expect that on a remote island like Mauritius.
@alexmikhael50619 ай бұрын
not really ''remote'' if you on the ''long way around'' and not doing the canals.... it is kinda on the way around the bottom, right? :) they been sailing that bend for centuries ;)

You make it look so easy and relaxed, but all the while it’s a big adventure and a courageous undertaking. I guess it’s more comfortable to sail the Indian ocean when you have a substantial drive and a good speed. Better than being tossed around by every movement on the waves. If you can I would like to learn from some of your experiences on how you use the space onboard

Hi Alfred can you elaborate a bit on what you like find out regarding the space onboard?

@@CatGreatcircle oh yes, I mean where do you guys spend most of your time and now that you sail long distances with only three people on board How do you use your sleeping cabins and the storages and fridge capacity?

@alfreddaniels3817 most of the time we’re in the saloon where we have the table always down so it’s more like a lounge area Depending on the weather some or all parts of the cockpit enclosure are down so the combination of saloon and cockpit feels like 1 room The aft bench is always in lounge position as well but with the table up so you can relax there as well Depending on the crew Marijke or me sleeps in the saloon during night watch so it’s easy to wake us when needed

@alfreddaniels3817 we’ve got 2 large fridge drawers, one mostly for drinks one for food and a full freezer with pre-prepared meals and some meat, fish (and ice cream) There’s plenty of storage in the hulls, in the kitchens and underneath the benches
