Why don’t you keep a small groundsheet in your boat so you always have a safe, clean and comfortable ground to sleep on. No spikes coral that may burst your inflatable. Not to mention they double over as extra protection against rain and other stuff if ever needed.

We did this all the time when I grew up sailing. My dad used to engineer these elaborate camp setups where the one tarp was the ground sheet roof and walls. Best time of my life 👍👍

My 10-year old son says "Dad, those hooks are all rusty" :-) That brings back memories of my fishing days. I eventually tried spraying some WD-40 into the tackle box after a trip. Camping out on my boat in the territory I always carried a good insect repellent and a good spray. Mozzies can carry some pretty long term problems and if you have ever experienced barma forest fever you will know what I mean. Cheers dave

a good tip for keeping your hooks from rusting out while stored in a box is to put some flour in the box with them, helps for when water gets into the box
