Hello. I am a supporter on Patreon. Have you considered making a pharmacology playlist? It would be helpful for me.

Very good vids ,very helpful..... For the non selective alpha antagonist one of the SE was vomiting and nausea this is due to alpha 2 blockade in the brain which would cause vasodilation resulting in headache and lightheaded feeling which can lead to vomiting, it was mentioned in one of my lecturers on this topic.....

Paul Bolin, M.D. is their a supplement that upconverts your receptors? I've heard Ketotifen works, but that's " bro science" research.

really informative video.thank's a lot. can anyone guide me through the mechanism by which beta blockers affect glucose metabolism?do they somehow affect gluconeogenesis?
@dr.anupkumarsingh31085 жыл бұрын
B blockers decrease blood glucose level by inhibiting gluconeogenesis , glycogenolysis ..

Alpha 1 and beta 2 receptors stimulate glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis. So any drug that blocks any of these receptors will reduce glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis and thus decrease blood glucose levels
