Now I'm actually looking forward it, because, you're opening an alpha starter, which is the most expensive item ever to be found on the magic market, knowing there's around 0.1 % chance to get back the money you'd get by selling it. this shows that your love for your cannell and your audience is bigger than the one you got for money. so you're a good human being and you deserve the best. wish you the best luck for next time ob. happy christmas !

umm... well, actually you can only buy latex gloves in 100-200 pcs/box and it cost like 5-10$ so its like 0,01-0,2 for a pair

Love it. I respect that your opening the rest from the box. If you opened the alpha lotus already I would have fire sold the rest. And considered the box fully searched. I enjoy seeing someone do it just for the nostalgia and the fun of it

Prices on these have gone up quite a bit since early 2005. Back then I owned 2 complete alpha sets. I purchased two Alpha starters for $1000 ($500 each). I was planing on reselling them or sitting on them but one evening after a couple of drinks I opened them. I remember getting a mana vault, Mindtwist and a island rare. I can’t remember what the other rare was, it wasn’t anything special. I loved watching you open a beta starter with alpha rares in it. I had a beta starter with a alpha mox jet in it once. That was rad. Lots of memories. That Wall of Wood is one of my faves. All the walls were such a neat dynamic. Reminded me of Llanowar Elves, Dark Rituals, Giant Growth. The Swamps were my favorite land artwork. I need to check out the vintage masters stuff. Lord of the Pit, Dark Ritual, and Demonic Tutor were also sick drawings.

Thanks again for the video. I know that this was a financial bust... But really if we went back to 1993 and opened this it was probably an above average starter. Sinkhole, Bolt, Swords to PS, Icy, Twiddle... Lots of great playable cards. Hell even Wall of Stone was like a 3 mana Moat back in the day. I had 2-3 of those in my Channelball deck. Point is: Thanks for the nostalgia.
