I liked using waist packs years ago. And I do like Wotancraft shoulder bags. So, I might have to try the Wotancraft waist pack.

Would you say you still had plenty of room or it wasn’t too tight with the FX30? I’d be trying to put a Canon R8 in it which is just slightly bigger than FX30. Also, how was strap comfort when carrying it loaded?

Hi Mark, thanks for the review. This looks like a really useful bag. Can you wear it around your waist or is it more like a messenger bag? I Aldo use the Leofoto small tripod you recommended. Is that a levelling plate you have under the ballhead? If so can you let me know the brand. Many thanks

I wear it as a sling bag but Wotancraft advertise it as a waist pack and a sling bag

The levelling plate is integral to that LeoFoto tripod

It seems that Wotancraft has no retailer in Australia, let alone in Melbourne where I am. I trust the review but still, to buy I'd like to have the merchandise in my own hand first to see if it really suits my needs. I'm too old fashioned, I suppose, for hardcore online shopping.

Kudos cameras imports them into Australia- it’s then up to the stores to stock them. The Pilot 10L was camera bag of the year in 2021 (dpreview) so goodness knows why nobody in Oz has thought to put one on a shelf.

Wotancraft will courier from Taiwan - this how most are obtaining their bags in the USA and Australia.
