This really opened my eyes regarding the whole “goal physique” I’ve always sort of trained everything equal, and assumed that any dominant body parts I end up with was pure genetics. I’ve also been afraid to move away from the normal “aesthetic bro” physique, even though I don’t even really like the look. I think I’m going to start thinking about what I really want to look like, and think of bodybuilding more as an art than just a mission to max out my potential on every body part. thank you.

The KZbin fitness viewer life cycle is an incredible concept that I’ve never heard articulated so well! I can remember diving so deep into youtube fitness for a couple years before intuitively weening myself off. Progress remained steady even when I stopped watching and I’ve now reached advanced numbers in multiple lifts. I will say, however, that every few months or so I will occasionally dive back into KZbin fitness but typically only to re up on the fitness mindset. And thats the big problem these days is people dont have the patience to grow muscle in 5 10 15 20 years and so on. @mamtaksamo36823 жыл бұрын
I just started watching, but I'm super happy that you Alex gave NH a platform on your channel. I found his channel by accident, it actually recommended by the YT algoritm, when it was still very small. Videos about popular beginner programs caught my attention as I myself was in the past on the Stronglifts and remember how dissapointed I was with it after some time. I watched his videos on those topics and could agree with basically everything he said- the cult mentality, the forcing of pseudo-powerlifting principles to people that are more interested in bodybuilding, the sandbagging, etc. I think I never wrote a comment under his videos, but I've watched a lot of them, as I love the long-video format instead of so common now extra short materials. Especially the philosophy ones. So thanks again Alex for giving him a shout out, as I think you, him and a couple of other natural lifters might be the beginning of the new evolution on yt fitness- where the natty way will have a big comeback to its righteous place- not as a cope, or blackpill, but as a proud statement of ones commitment to the never ending self improvement. And then it will be a full circle- like back in the days when Scooby first posted his lifting advice videos.
